At The Pets Workshop, your pet’s safety has always come first. ❤️🐾

Today, every member of our team successfully completed Pet First Aid Training conducted by the Singapore Red Cross Academy.

While we hope we’ll never need to put these skills into practice, this training equips our team to better recognize signs of a medical emergency, respond appropriately, and provide immediate first aid support while arranging prompt veterinary care where required.

Professional grooming is about more than just a beautiful haircut—it’s about caring for your pet’s wellbeing throughout every stage of their visit. By investing in ongoing education, we’re continually raising the standards of care we provide, giving pet owners greater confidence that their beloved companions are in capable and caring hands.

A heartfelt thank you to the instructors from Singapore Red Cross Academy for sharing their expertise with our team.

_Pet first aid training does not qualify our staff as veterinarians. Our groomers are trained to provide immediate first aid where appropriate and to seek veterinary assistance without delay in the event of a medical emergency._

*Only available at The Pets Workshop Academy: Tampines Telepark.*

Help our student groomers gain valuable hands-on experience while your furry friend receives a supervised grooming session.

Our Student Cut Grooming sessions are conducted as part of The Pets Workshop Academy’s practical training programme, where students work under the guidance of our certified instructors.

✨ Student Cuts – $20
✨ Lamb Clip & Pom Cuts – FREE

To ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment, model dogs should:
🐾 Be friendly (not aggressive)
🐾 Be healthy

Please note that student grooming is different from a regular commercial grooming appointment. While we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred style, students are required to practice grooming styles and techniques based on their lesson objectives, and as such, specific cuts are not always possible. Additionally, we ask for your patience and understanding as Student Cuts may take longer to allow our students time to learn and practice their skills.

That’s why **all The Pets Workshop outlets will be closed on 27 July 2026** as every member of our grooming team attends a **mandatory Pet First Aid Workshop conducted by the Singapore Red Cross**.

As pet care professionals, we hope to continually raise the standard of care we provide. While veterinary treatment will always belong in the hands of veterinarians, we believe it is important that our team is equipped with practical first aid knowledge to better recognise emergencies, respond appropriately, provide immediate support where suitable, and seek timely veterinary attention when it matters most.

Every course we attend, every skill we learn, and every standard we adopt is part of our commitment to creating a safer, more professional grooming environment for every pet entrusted to our care.
