Having 2 pups of my own and watching their health transform with a home cooked, balanced diet, sparked my interest in canine nutrition. When I began dog sitting, I was
one of the few dog sitters who provided a healthy, balanced meal, made from scratch daily, catered to each and every furry client. After feeding over a hundred dogs, I learnt everything from how to create a special needs diet to simply trying to get a picky eater to finish their meals. One thing led to another, and Feed My Paws was born! To date, Feed My Paws has been featured across blogs, AWGs, and local media consistently: from radio stations 93.8 LIVE and KISS 92FM, to popular publications such as PETS Magazine and CLUBPETS, where I was a recipe contributor for 2 years, and counting. I'm also proud to say that I finally fulfilled a dream of launching a recipe book in 2016, the only one of it's kind in Singapore :)

A safari themed cake for Oreo’s birthday!! 🐘🦁🦓🐒🦒🐼 8 figurines on a single cake was definitely a massive challenge- especially when every single one was sculpted using potato 🥔🙊
Like all our cakes, the base is made with FRESH MEAT, EGGS, and VEGGIES 😍 it’s frosted with potato and all our sculptures are made with potato too! Colours are derived naturally- like yellow for turmeric and beetroot for pink ☺️
This cake took a total of 5 hours decorating time (excluding baking and prep time). Love how it turned out!! ❤️❤️ special shoutout to the monkey. The tiny bananas were my absolute fav 🤣🤣

Every year Sasha’s mummy gives us the opportunity to work on a gorgeous design for Sasha’s birthday cake! This year it was an adorable cake! 😍😍
The most challenging parts were keeping the alpaca ears and cactus arms in place without using anything sharp (e.g toothpicks) because we’re always SO paranoid about dogs accidentally swallowing these tiny sharp objects 😣
Thankfully everything turned out well and we only had to use chopsticks to stabilise the alpacas’ long necks ❤️

Dinner Patties for Dogs! (Yes my cat has to get involved anytime food is involved 🤣 it’s not balanced for him as a meal but it’s got some wonderful ingredients that are beneficial for him as a treat!)
INGREDIENTS:
•200g minced meat
•30g offal (I used chicken liver, an excellent source of protein, minerals such as selenium and size, fatty acids such as omega-3 and 6, and vitamin A)
•60g pumpkin (a complex carb that aids digestion)
•Sprinkle of sunflower seeds (vitamin E and omega-3, great for the skin and heart)
•Sprinkle of ginger powder (anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, aids digestion as well! You can use fresh ginger too!)
(Calcium powder and fish oil is added for mealtime. Not shown in this video as it was just a taste test for them ☺️)
I personally prefer gently cooked meals on the stove but air fried patties smell better to Hoovy. My goal of course, with Hoovy being 15, is to ensure he eats well and making meals palatable and exciting for him is the most important so in the case of a less gamey smelling meat like chicken, I would air fry it. If it’s beef, lamb, or salmon, I’d cook it on the stove. Of course, this is entirely up to you! ❤️ do what’s best for YOUR pup because as long as they’re healthy, that’s the most important ❤️❤️
This is just one of the many dinner items Hoovy gets. Just like humans, it’s almost impossible to ensure every single meal is perfectly balanced. So what I do is to change it up and include different foods whenever I can ☺️ that way, by the end of the week, Hoovy has consumed an amazing array of vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, complex carbs, herbs, seeds, and more! ❤️
As always, remember to do your research to see what works best for your dog as every dog has different needs and preferences ❤️
