As you know, MCOs are genetically predisposed to HCM heart disease. Since I have heart problems myself, we went to a cardiologist who told me about a drug that is in the research phase, but shows great promise. It is Rapamycin. Of course, this drug should not be taken without veterinary supervision. Regular blood tests and ultrasounds are necessary. I am telling you this because there is now hope for HCM patients.
