Our story is about Australian shepherds and it all began with Ginny, my first Aussies. She came into my life in 2006 and like we all say - changed my life. At that time I decided I am not yet ready to become a breeder so Ginny was (and still is) my companion and my loyal partner in various dog sports. We did it all - dog frisbee, rally obedience, obedience, herding, nose work and most importantly search and rescue - that’s where we got hooked and still much so are! I knew I wanted to keep on working as a search and rescue dog handler and thus began planning my next pup.
After a lot of research I found a great litter in Germany with breeder Sandra Zilch - the S bar L Aussies. Beam, my new puppy, came into my life in Spring 2015. I did imagine how having 2 dogs would be like and I knew that I would love them both, but Beam is something else. I would dare say that she is my heart dog (and with that I absolutely don’t mean I love Ginny any less). Ginny gave me so much knowledge and experience and made me understand dogs more which helps me being a better human for both Beam and Ginny. Living and working with Beam is so easy and at this time I felt I was ready to take on the responsibility of a breeder. She is a magnificent dog - being a companion, a search and rescue dog, a herding dog or a sport dog. You name it, she can do it. Her having excellent health results and a good pedigree helped with my decision and here we are, planning a first litter!
