1st November is “all saint’s day” (or “day of the dead”, as it’s more commonly known in Slovenia), and we celebrate it each year by remembering our loved ones who have passed. As a dog parent, I frequently think about my past dogs, what they taught me, all the adventures we went on and how they made me feel. To me, they are not “just dogs”, they never were. Donna, the beagle, was with me from childhood through teenage years up to young adulthood, while Darwin continued her work through my 20s up to 30s - to my (I guess) proper adult life. That’s no small feat, and I can’t really describe the full impact of having both of them in my life. My only regret is not having the knowledge that I have today, so that I could make their lives even fuller, healthier and happier. Hug and kiss your dogs every day, it passes way too fast ❤️

What are "Green tripe"? Basically, this is cow´s stomach in raw (or air dried) form. The "green" in the name just means that they have not been processed - no cleaning, no bleaching, no cooking. This year we decided not to do a trick competition for Halloween, since 1.) everybody is doing it, and 2.) we would rather stick to our primary mesage: go outdoors and spend some active, quality time with your dog(s). ❤ We will be doing that as well, hopefully the weather will be nice!

Po dolgem času spet zbiramo naročila za naše LYO DOG priboljške 🙂 Kot vedno, bodo količine majhne in omejene, zato gremo po principu "kdor prej pride, prej dobi".

Delali bomo:
- Telečje sapnike v obliki srčka
- Konjske palčke
- Ribe (papaline in sled)
- priboljške za trening (zajec, puran, piščanec, konj, jagnjetina, divjačina, raca)
- goveji zeleni (neočiščeni) vampi (po 500g)

Če bo dovolj interesa (toliko, da bo dovolj za cel cikel), lahko dodamo še kakšne druge okuse, ampak to vam bom lahko sporočila naknadno, če bo šlo ali ne.

One of the goals that we have set for 2024 was to develop an ADVENTURE DOG online training course: expert-led training to help you and your dog explore the outdoors safely, with the aim of creating a great bond along the way. 🙂

Based on your inputs, we have developed these 6-week online dog training courses:
- Skiing with dogs (as soon as we get some snow*)
- Hiking with dogs
- Mountain biking with dogs
- Stand-up paddling with dogs

All dog training sessions will be happening online in 2025, as a mixture of pre-recorded lessons, live lessons, Q&A sessions and personalized consultations for each participant (depending on your previous experience, specific goals, etc.).

We are thrilled to introduce something really special: our very own LYO DOG protein bar for dogs!

There are several protein bars already available on the market, but as always, our super allergic dog Ozzy cannot eat them, because they are all filled with secret and not-so-secret ingredients that he cannot consume (to be honest, some of these bars contain ingredients that are not suitable for dogs at all, no matter if a dog has allergies or food sensitivities).

We have been working on this product since the very beginning and we now have several recipes that are “ready to go”. Our sports bars will be made from 100% natural ingredients, if possible as 1-ingredient snack, or enriched with natural supplements to boost joint health and overall wellbeing of our active dogs.
