Community.....Wow, we are blessed.

Without asking, our wonderful friends and neighbors jumped in. Providing physical help and emotional support. Offering a safe place to live (with our pets). The help we received from the fire department, our municipality and our insurance company was incredible. In the middle of a national disaster, with the help of a special friend, an amazing roof master from half way accross the country arrived on the scene to replace our roof.

You wrapped your arms around us throught a difficult time. Thank you. We are here to serve.

Storms do pass...

Gosh, what a wild wild windy wet summer this has been. Late afternoon in the middle of July a storm passed through sending four panels of our roof flying in four directions. With the help of our wonderful neighbors and amazing village fire department we temporarily secured the roof. Five nights later a second storm rushed by. Within seconds 120 km winds tore the entire roof off. A week later three days of torrential rain poured down. 250 mm of rainfall in the first 24 hours resulting in widespread severe flooding.

Sacred feminine Embodiment for me starts with living in communion with nature as eco-system. It’s no surprise that this morning I was intuitively drawn to forage the rose-hips from our garden…. On the day that Venus is shining at her brightest. For millennia, Venus has been associated with the rose & Aphrodite…

Earlier this year, in Northern summer, I had the opportunity to attend a pottery workshop in Slovenia with Lončič: pottery studio
I've always wanted to try my hand on the wheel with clay as my teacher. And what a teaching experience it was!

It was so deeply inspiring, as I observed my inner process of balancing the masculine (form/structure) and feminine (creative/flow) parts of self, that I realised this medium would be an incredible practice for personal development.

Pottery is an ancient tradition in Slovenia, with fascinating ways of how men and women co-created together during the creation process.

Looking forward to collaborating with Lončič pottery teacher Vid Polončič & Ines Polončič at Terra Ziva.
