"Based in the rural landscape of Ireland, I am a seasoned dog trainer, competitor and judge with a passion for retriever excellence. With four Irish Field Trial Champions (FTCH) to my name and a track record of numerous wins and placements in trials and tests, my dedication to the sport runs deep.
As an 'A' panel judge with the Irish Kennel Club, I have had the privilege of officiating at prestigious events, both in Ireland and across the continent. Events which include the Irish and Swedish (Jaktkretrieverklubben) Championship and the European Championship.
My experience extends beyond judging and competing; I have trained countless handlers and their dogs across Europe and the States, helping the handlers to foster a love for the sport, inspiring them to push on despite the many difficulties we all encounter and helping to elevate standards within the Field Trial and Working Test community.

"Firstly I would like to say thank you for inviting me to judge in your country. I am looking forward to it.
I come from Northern Ireland. I have been competing, judging and breeding my Glenbriar Labradors for over 40 years. During this time, I have had a great deal of success, in both Working Tests and Field Trials, and made up several Ftchs and Ftws and bred lots more. My Glenbriar bloodlines have produced 165 Ftchs & Ftws including 14 National Championship Winners & 9 Top Retrievers of The Year titles. My crowning glory was winning The Irish Retriever Championship. I had been placed in it lots of times but winning it with my Ftch Glenbriar Skippy was special.
One of the things that gives me so much pleasure is having bred so many champions, and seeing other Field Trail handlers getting the same enjoyment and success I have had and seeing them making the dogs l’ve bred into champions.
I am a A panel Judge in both The English Kennel Club and Irish Kennel Club and have been for over 30 years. I have judged The Irish Retriever Championship on many occasions, plus the Belgium, Swedish & Danish Championships, and regard judging as a privilege."

Vážení priatelia,

s veľkým poľutovaním vám oznamujeme, že sme nútení zrušiť naše udalosti Dummy trial, Working Test a tréning, ktoré sa mali konať v dňoch 2. až 6. mája v Skalici. Toto rozhodnutie sme prijali z dôvodu pretrvávajúcej infekcie slintačky a krívačky na Slovensku.

Na základe aktuálneho vyjadrenia Regionálnej veterinárnej a potravinovej správy nie je možné, aby sa na našej akcii zúčastnili účastníci z postihnutých oblastí Maďarska a Slovenska. Zároveň nám Poľovnícke združenie Skalica z dôvodu vysokého rizika prenosu nákazy neumožnilo vstup do ich revíru.

Žiaľ, v takomto krátkom čase nie je možné nájsť inú vhodnú lokalitu na zorganizovanie našej udalosti.

Všetkým, ktorí ste už zaplatili štartovné poplatky, budú tieto v plnej výške vrátené na vaše bankové účty.

Ďakujeme za pochopenie a veríme, že sa stretneme na niektorej inej našej akcii.

Dear Friends,

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of our Dummy Trial, Working Test, and training events, which were scheduled to take place from May 2nd to 6th in Skalica. We have made this decision due to the ongoing foot-and-mouth disease infection in Slovakia.

Based on the current statement from the Regional Veterinary and Food Administration, participants from the affected areas of Hungary and Slovakia are unable to attend our event. Additionally, the Skalica Hunting Association has not granted us access to their hunting grounds due to the high risk of disease transmission.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to find another suitable location to organize our event in such a short timeframe.

All those who have already paid their entry fees will receive a full refund to their bank accounts.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at one of our other events.
