Dark Side Legion – Season Summary 2025 ✨
The year 2025 was a very special and meaningful one for our Dark Side Legion kennel.
Even though our dogs are no longer the youngest—Slash turned 8 and Leia celebrated her 10th birthday—they once again proved that age is just a number. Their love for work, joy for training, and passion for sport are still very much alive, and spending time with them on the field continues to bring us immense happiness and results 🥰
We started the year with a significant achievement for Slash, who became Lord of the Hoop 2025 🏆 collecting the highest number of points in Open runs across a series of three Hoopers competitions. This title was a beautiful confirmation of his consistency and performance throughout the season.
Another highlight came at the Championship of Australian Breeds in agility, where Slash won 1st place in the Large category 🥇🏆, while Leia secured 3rd place in the Intermediate category 🥉🏆 results we are truly proud of.
The peak of the Hoopers season followed with the Slovak Hoopers Championships 2025. Slash and Leia were part of the team Kelpies, which achieved an excellent 3rd place in the team competition 🥉 Individually, Slash earned the prestigious title of Slovak Hoopers Champion 2025 🏆😍
Shortly after, the Slovak Agility Championships 2025 took place and brought another unforgettable moment for us. Leia symbolically crowned her long-term agility journey by earning the A3 Champion title ❤️which represents the culmination of years of dedication, consistency, and effort, and confirms the highest level achievable in agility in Slovakia. In addition, Slash and his team Run as Rebels claimed 2nd place in the team competition 🥈, while Leia also earned the title of Slovak 1st ViceChampion 2025 in individual agility 🥈🏆
Later in the season, we represented Slovakia at the World Hoopers Open Championship in Italy. While individual runs did not go fully according to plan 🫣😁 the Slovak team achieved a fantastic 3rd place in the team run 🥉, which we value immensely.
Throughout the year, we also participated in many smaller competitions and trial events, bringing home numerous podium placements and valuable experiences—too many to list individually, but all equally important 🫶
For Dark Side Legion, 2025 was also significant thanks to our offspring. Jetro (litter B ) and Shelby (litter C) once again represented their countries at the Agility World Championships 🥰 while Wick (litter C) achieved excellent results in Obedience OB3, making us incredibly proud of our dogs and their handlers 🫶
A new chapter began for our kennel this year with the arrival of Rey 💜 our young hope from kennel Beoffbeat. Rey shows outstanding potential both in sport and work—especially in herding, where she demonstrates strong natural instinct and enthusiasm, as well as promising foundations in sports training. We are very excited about her future.
Our Dark Side Legion pack is not made up only of kelpies—our working cocker spaniel Porsche 🩷 also deserves a special mention. In 2025, she started competing in Hoopers and already showed great potential, she won the individual run at the Slovak Hoopers Championships 🥇 and also earned the MAH1 title 😍 - proving that 2026 will be a very exciting year for her, not only in hoopers but also in agility.
We are deeply grateful for everything this year has brought us and look forward with excitement, motivation, and gratitude to what 2026 will bring for our Dark Side Legion family 🤩
Even as we move forward, our thoughts always return to those who shaped our path. Ebony and Baba Yaga will forever be members of the Dark Side family – a pack that never forgets 🖤🖤
