BDA Predator Control

BDA Predator Control CLOSED!!!! Predators are running rampant in eastern NC because there are very few predator/varmint hunters in the area. that a coyote will happily feast on.

Most coyotes are killed during deer season when a coyote accidentally walks in front of someone's deer stand and others are killed when coming to a turkey hunters calls and decoy setup. I have spoken to a game biologist on Camp Lejeune who said that the average coyote in the area is a bit larger than the average coyote elsewhere because they are actually a red wolf/coyote hybrid. Big male coyotes

are usually around 45lbs where as big ones in Lejeune area are 55-62 lbs. Onslow and Jones counties are full of farms which draw prey species to feed on the agriculture. Prey animals of course draw predators such as coyotes and bobcats. Many farms have some population of livestock whether it's cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, etc. Calving season will draw coyotes like buzzards to a rotting carcass. Many of us in the area have probably heard them communicating at night when we are trying to sleep. That gets annoying very quick! If you need some help with the noise, crop/livestock damage, pet kills/disappearance, or reduction in numbers to the deer and turkey in your area, please give me a call, and I will see what I can do for you. Thanks,
Ben Alicea
