Miss Meow had her stitches out today after being spayed. Have a good life Meow.

We had the disappointment of around 10 cats to be spayed and neutered and vaccinating all in preparation to do so only for their owner to refuse us the opportunity. Its a huge blow for us.

However when we collected Miss Kow to be spayed a few days ago, her owner also had a female cat called Miss Meow. She said yes when we offered to spay her so she was done the same day. She will have her stitches out in a few days.

Miss Kow became a priority yesterday after we realised she had come into her first heat.

We have been feeding her every day since she got her new home some months ago but is still very unsure in our presence.

We needed the help of her owner to get her into the car. We spayed her sister Miss Kat some years ago.

Thankfully she passed her blood test and is now spayed. She will have her stitches out in around a weeks time.

Miss Mok had her stitches out yesterday and went home after being spayed. Her 4 sisters who were spayed at the same time also had there stitches removed.

5 females is a good result and many kittens that won't add to the local population.

A few days ago we had 5 female cats successfully spayed. The grey one Miss Mok will be staying with us until she fully recovers as she is quite feral and much more difficult to give medication too.

The other 4 were returned home.

Back in June we got Miss Jackie to the vet to be spayed. Unfortunately she failed her blood test after weeks of medication to make sure she didn't fail it.

Something wasn't right. So we continued her medication for 6 more weeks and got her to the vet again last week to be spayed. She passed this time (but only just) and was successfully spayed.

The vet found a litter of dead pups inside her which explained why the medication took so long to take effect. In short they were poisoning her from within which she would have eventually died. Thankfully we got her in time.

She had her stitches out yesterday. She is such an adorable little soul we are so pleased we followed our gut instinct to have her spayed.

Mr Junior was finally neutered a few days ago. As a small pup he was hit by a car which resulted in internal damage and needed a life saving operation. We had no guarantees from the vet it would be successful but without it he would surely not survive.

Thankfully it was a success. When the vet neutered him she found internal damage to his testicles also from the accident.

He now lives with us in his forever home. He will have his stitches out in a few days.

We have been treating this boy since last November when his concerned guardian noticed he was unwell. He tested positive for FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis) last November. On one of his many checkups in April this year he tested clear of the virus.

Last week his guardian again contacted us to say he stopped eating. We got him to the vet where he tested positive for feline leukemia.
He sadly passed away the next morning.

Its cases like this we find difficult as his guardian loved him very much. Rest easy in the arms of God little one. Until we meet again.

Mr Tong has been with us over 6 weeks now with a terrible wound to his back area from having boiling water thrown on him.

His wound has nearly healed after Boons love, patience and care. Last week he was neutered and is now fully vaccinated. He is almost ready to go home.

The vet told us that he would have died from infection had we not taken him in. Not long now Mr Tong and you can go home. of

Back in December we spayed and neutered 3 female and 2 male pups but mum was too feral to catch.

We had a phone call yesterday from their feeder that mum was on heat again and that she had finally caught mum who had a white male dog stuck inside her while trying to mate.

We got her straight to the vet and mum is now spayed and recovering at our home until she has fully recovered and will be reunited with her pups.

Mr Tong is making good progress but burns are slow at healing. He will continue to stay with us until he is well enough to go home.

Miss Jackie has been on medication for the last two weeks to prepare her to be spayed.

We got her to the vet yesterday and unfortunately she failed her blood test, so its back to the medication for another two weeks and we will try again.

Another female cat successfully spayed today. We were supposed to neuter her brother also but their male human owner decided on the last minute he didn't want to put him through it.

At least she can no longer have kittens. She will have her stitches removed in around a weeks time.

Mr Tong had his checkup today and will have another on Friday. Change of dressing and a clean up, its healing nicely, but still a long way to go.

Following on from my previous post about the 5 cats and 2 dogs I feed daily.

When I arrived a few days ago Mr Tong was missing. He eventually turned up with a very large wound to his back. We got him to the vet to be cleaned up and administer anti biotics. The vet said its consistent with a burn and he has probably had boiling water thrown on him. He is staying with us until he has healed.

The 3 female cats are booked in to be spayed this Friday.

The last three months have been a very difficult and trying time for us. Mr Sammy fits have become more frequent and we cannot leave him on his own. Sammy is kindly sponsored by Veronique Anthonis. Mr Chockdee is nearing the end of his life and needs constant care. He is completely blind and deaf and can no longer stand without our help and these last few days has stopped eating completely. Miss Molly also got very sick but thankfully has now fully recovered. We haven't been able to spay and neauter as much we would like but while the 19 dogs at home must be our priority we have continued to feed our normal daily street dogs and cats and even added some more in the meantime including medication and vaccinations. We need to do a fundraise soon which will include some M.A.D 4 Soi Dogs tshirts kindly donated by Veronique. #rescuedogs #dogrescue

Rest in peace Miss Mona. We were shocked to find out about her passing. We only had her spayed last year. She has left us with two beautiful babies who are now fully grown and we also spayed and neutered last year. Our wonderful connection lives on but your physical presence will be very much missed. Miss Mok is one of 5 female cats we spayed last week. We were told she is by far the feral and not used to humans so aftercare medication would be difficult to give so could she stay with us until she recovers. Mr Junior had his stitches out yesterday and is now fully neutered, fully vaccinated and fully recovered from his ordeal of having been run over by a car which required a major operation.
