So there are my last days as chicken farmer :( I'm very sad but I have to leave Thailand for min. 6 months and there is no one I trust enough to take care about birds. Almost my whole flock has been sold already (just few black chickens and few Isbars left for sale). Most of my birds went to Kalasin to my good friend Barry Willingham as I know he will treat them good and don't mix the breeds (Y) So if you would like to orders some chicks feel free to contact us :) My fanpage will remain open but not so active as used to be... But I will try to post all updates for Kalasin farm so you will know what is going on with my birds and what is on stock for sale at the moment (Y) This was great adventure and I learned to love chickens. See you again and don't even think that DK Chicken Farm will be closed forever :) I will come back again (Y) :D

Meet Rocky my one and only fighting chicken I own (Y) I have to keep him separate as he is little aggressive towards other youngsters of other breeds, even he is only 2 months old he is picking on older hens... He is afraid of older roosters yet but this will probably change in time... But to me he is very friendly... like to seat on my shoulder and walk around... He can go even to shop with me to make sure I do correct shopping - don't forget to buy beer :P :D (Y)

As I felt from some time already that my Isbar chickens are to big for their small hose for chicks, I decided yesterday evening to move them to the new, much bigger house together with my Japanese Silkies (they are similar age)... Today they are exploring new environment and seems to be happy with this change :) I don't know about Japanese Silkies but Isbar chickens are known to be very calm and not aggressive breed so there shouldn't be big problem with fighting (Y) :D
