Cat Show Family at N MARK Plaza 25 August 2024.
Day 2. Very tired. But we have great emotions from joying a good atmosphere. My daughter Jessica was very happy to join in the fashion show and won 4th place. Our Devon Rex Shelly became the best of the best grooming shorthair adult group in two rings. I want to say a big thanks to Nion Enjoydancer 🙏😻💕 for this wonderful cat show and fashion show. Thanks to the judges for choosing our cat. Of course, a big thanks to the sponsors for the wonderful gifts. We had a wonderful day. We received a sea of positive emotions. Thank you all. Кто-то считает, что они страшные уродцы, другие, напротив, восхищаются такой наружностью и ласково зовут их "эльфами" или "инопланетянами". Отличительной особенностью "демонов" является короткая кучерявая шерсть. Окрас меха и глаз может варьироваться в пределах бесконечности. С объективной точки зрения, скажем, что Девон Рекс похож на КОТА, но его внешность весьма специфична. Он смахивает на "анорексика" среди кошачьей братии за счёт экстремально короткой шерсти, природной худощавости и слегка необычного телосложения (вытянутая шея, длинные ноги, большая голова). Девон может с легкостью приучиться справлять нужду в унитаз, открывать двери (повиснув на ручке!), откликаться на своё имя, выполнять несложные команды (сидеть, принеси, прыжок). Конечно, на дрессировку кота уходит намного больше времени, чем на дрессуру собаки, но это того стоит! Девоны любят разговаривать. Они мяукают в разной тональности, и это, действительно, похоже на речь. "Дай есть" - одна интонация, "мне скучно" - другая, "хозяин, пойдём спать" - третья. Неприхотлив в быту За Девон Рексом очень просто ухаживать - только выноси горшок, давай есть-пить и гладь по мере возможности. Вычёсывать шерсть - не надо. Протирать глаза - очень редко. Стричь когти - не, не слышали. Конечно, время от времени всё таки надо наводить своему питомцу марафет - и причесать резиновой рукавичкой, и уши с глазами почистить, и ноготочки подровнять, возможно даже искупать! Но всё это делается более по желанию, чем по необходимости. Кушает он сухой корм и к человеческой еду абсолютно равнодушен. Правда, надо обязательно покупать корм премиум класса, иначе Девон рискует растолстеть и приобрести проблемы со здоровьем. Обязательно наличие когтеточки. И батареи! Ведь эти котики лишены толстой шубы, поэтому любят тёплые места на радиаторах, в складках пуховых одеял или под боком у любимого человека!
