Honestly, I’m a pretty charming speaker… but here’s the story. Reviewing before the event starts, though I initially planned to review after the event ended!

It all started when FASAVA contacted me through my Malaysian friend, asking if I could speak at their event. I agreed because I wanted to share my knowledge with my peers.

Here are the key points:

1. They asked me to send 6-7 topics for them to choose from and wanted me to speak in 3 slots.
2. They informed me that while the topics were interesting, another speaker would cover “Liver Lobe Torsion.” Instead, they asked me to speak about anesthesia in exotic pets in a major stream, which I agreed to.
3. Finally, they adjusted my schedule to speak on 3 topics but asked if I could fill an additional slot without extra payment—3 paid talks and 1 free. I agreed, as I’m not concerned about the payment; I’m happy to speak for free if needed.
4. Regarding flight booking, I asked them to book an extra seat for Dr. Noon and deduct the cost from my fee. They said they’d need to discuss it in a meeting first. Eventually, they asked me to book one seat through an agency myself. In the end, they booked both seats for me.
5. The accommodation was decent and close to the conference, with breakfast included for one person. For an additional person, I had to pay extra for service and breakfast, which I understood. However, if this were in Thailand or organized by VPAT, they’d handle it better.
6. During speaker registration, they gave me one ticket for the Speaker Dinner Night. I asked for an extra ticket for my partner but was told, “Sorry, one ticket per speaker.” This was disappointing, as hosts should take better care of their guest speakers. In contrast, my experience in China was exceptional—they provided comprehensive support throughout my stay.

P.S. My Malaysian friends were incredibly welcoming and supportive, even more so than the association itself.

งานนี้ให้เด็กๆได้เป็นทั้งวิทยากร และผู้ประสานงาน ดีใจที่เห็นเด็กๆ ได้เติบโตขึ้นอีกขึ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็นทั้งหมอ และ Nurse การที่เห็นเด็กๆเตรียมตัวการทำงาน ประชุมวางแผน ทำ Handout และ จัดการทุกสิ่งอย่างนั้นถือว่าราบรื่นอย่างมาก

เอาจริงๆ โครตภูมิใจในความสามารถของ Staff animalspace มาก พวกเธอเป็นหมอ และ พยาบาลสัตว์ที่เจ๋งสุดๆ
