We are excited to announce the successful Outbreak Investigation Demonstration conducted by the 15th Batch Trainees in Chondan District, Petchabun from December 9-20, 2024. This event focused on investigating a significant outbreak of Hemorrhagic Septicemia in beef cattle and buffaloes that occurred between July and September 2024.
The trainees engaged in hands-on learning, acquiring essential skills in disease investigation—from identifying symptoms to conducting field research—under the expert guidance of local authorities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff from the Department of Livestock Development in Petchabun, the Ban Kluay Sub-district Administrative Organization , the Veterinary Research and Development Center - Lower Northern Region (VRDC-LNR), local farmers, and all participants. Their invaluable support was crucial in making this activity a success, providing the trainees with real-world experiences that will significantly enhance their skills.

On December 2, 2024, at 9:00 AM, Dr. Boonyagith Pinprasong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Livestock Development, presided over the R-FETPV Scientific Conference. Dr. Komsan Rungreung, an expert in transboundary animal disease control, delivered the welcome remarks.

Held from December 2–4, the conference brought together trainees from countries across Asia-Pacific, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. Participants presented research on animal epidemiology and disease investigations, focusing on rabies and health issues in swine, poultry, ruminants, and aquatic animals.

Special lectures were given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonthaya Tiawsirisup (Chulalongkorn University) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teera Rukkwamsuk (Kasetsart University) on vector-borne diseases and hemorrhagic septicemia control.

This initiative, jointly organized by FAO and the Department of Livestock Development, aims to enhance sustainable epidemiological capacity in the Asia-Pacific region.

The event was held at Centara Grand Central Ladprao, Bangkok.

ในวันที่ 22 มกราคม 2567 นายสัตวแพทย์ณรงค์ เลี้ยงเจริญ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักควบคุม ป้องกันและบำบัดโรคสัตว์ มอบหมายให้ สัตวแพทย์หญิงนพวรรณ บัวมีธูป ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการพัฒนาสุขภาพสัตว์และบำบัดโรคสัตว์ เป็นประธานเปิดกิจกรรมการนำเสนอผลงานของผู้เข้ารับการอบรม Scientific Conference on R-FETPV Output Presentation of 1st R-FETPV (14th batch of 2023) and 2nd R-FETPV (13th batch of 2022) trainees ระหว่างวันที่ 22-24 มกราคม 2567 เวลา 8.30 – 16.30 น. ณ โรงแรมเซ็นทารา แกรนด์ แอท เซ็นทรัลพลาซา ลาดพร้าว กทม.โดยผู้เข้าร่วมได้แก่ นายสัตวแพทย์สังกัดกรมปศุสัตว์ และหน่วยงานอื่นๆ รวมถึงนายสัตวแพทย์จากประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก พร้อมด้วยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 14 ท่าน ที่มาช่วยให้ข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการนำเสนอผลงานจำนวน 15 ชิ้นงานเกี่ยวกับการระบาดของโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า บรูเซลลา พีพีอาร์ อหิวาต์แอฟริกาในสุกร โรคสัตว์ปีก โรคสัตว์น้ำ รวมไปถึงการสอบสวนปัญหาด้านอาหารปลอดภัย
