Local people help to catch 'their' dogs, it's a great help because they know the dog so the catching is much easier and less time consuming.

These dogs are feral and have to be darted by professional dog catchers the costs are 300 baht per dog

💜🐾🩷Last week Oranuch was in the Don Khun Huai area to check on the stray dog population there. หมาจรชะอำ Stray dogs Cha am will go catch dogs for CNVR there to keep the number of feral dogs under control
Next CNVR (Catch Neuter Vaccinate Return) will start monday January 27

220 dogs where Catched, Neutered, Vaccinated, freed of parasites and Returned
by the team of หมาจรชะอำ Stray dogs Cha am and the doctors of Soi Dog Foundation about 5 dogs are still at Oranuch to recover as they where found wounded, they will return to their packs when recovered.

Release the dogs after being neutered, vaccinated and freed of parasites, all 200 dogs have to be catched ánd returned. (to the same location🧐) It is a monthly logistical challenge and Oranuch Nuch Banyam and her team make long intens days from early morning untill very late at night 🌞🌙

End of october Oranuch and her team of หมาจรชะอำ Stray dogs Cha am, together with the doctors of Soi Dog Foundation, held a succesfull CNVR-round ( #101!)
204 dogs where catched, Neutered, Vaccinated, Freed of Parasites and Returned.
About 4 dogs had to stay with Oranuch due to health problems.
They will recover in her care and than, sadly, return to their packs.
There was a specail guest from มูลนิธิเพื่อสุนัขในซอย, ประเทศไทย (Soi Dog - in Thai) ❤️

They were more dead than alive and now they healthy, vaccinated, free of parasites.

Catching dogs for CNVR september หมาจรชะอำ Stray dogs Cha am

We can catch and carry some dogs like you see but for the feral dogs we hire darters.
We still need sponsors for the neuter and vaccinate round this month.
All dogs we catch will be neutered, vaccinated against Rabies, parvo, distemper, hepatitis, weil & kennelcough and receive medical care if needed.
