Based in Wok Tum on Koh PhaNgan, PACS provides medical care to the stray, temple and wild animals of the island. We have a dedicated neutering and vaccination program carried out with the help of volunteer vets and vet nurses. PACS provides daily hospital care for many animals who require daily medication, and also out-patient care on "house-call days" where the nurse traverses the island attending to those who need less regular care/treatment.

Never a dull day at PACS! 😮

🐍 We usually focus on stray cats and dogs, but today brought us an unexpected patient: Colleen, a severely injured python!

🥹She had a large gash we believe was caused by a grass cutter, and the surgery was anything but simple. Sedating such a powerful snake requires precise teamwork and courage—especially when she’s in pain.

🙏Here’s what made Colleen’s rescue so significant (and why we need your help):

➡️ High-Stakes Sedation
Our team worked carefully to anesthetize Colleen. Pythons are strong and can be unpredictable, so every step had to be planned and handled with utmost caution.

➡️ Complex Surgery
The wound was wide and deep, demanding an hours-long procedure with meticulous stitching. One wrong move could have led to infection or further injury.

➡️ Unexpected Costs
Specialized equipment, medication, and post-op care for a python aren’t typically in our day-to-day budget. Your donations help us cover these unplanned expenses while keeping our essential services running for stray cats and dogs.

ช่วงนี้ การจราจรบนท้องถนนในเกาะพงัน มีความวุ่นวาย เสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ ไม่เว้นแม้กระทั่ง หมาและแมว

ขณะนี้ ทาง PACs ได้รับเคส หมาและแมว ประสบอุบัติเหตุรถชนบนถนน เป็นจำนวนมาก ตลอดช่วงเวลาไม่กี่เดือนที่ผ่านมา บ้างก็สามารถรักษาได้ บ้างก็พิการ บางตัวก็ต้องจากไป

เราจึงขอความร่วมมือจากเจ้าของน้องหมาน้องแมว ช่วยกันดูแลน้องๆเป็นพิเศษ ให้น้องอยู่ในบริเวณบ้าน ไม่ออกมาวิ่งบนถนน เพื่อที่เราจะไม่ต้องมาเสียใจภายหลัง และเค้าจะอยู่กับเราไปนานๆ

Update: GINGER HAS A HOME 🏠

A Miracle Cat in Need of a Forever Home By Monday!

🐱 Ginger is a sweet, one-year-old female cat with a heart full of love. After a devastating car accident left her with severe head trauma, we feared she might never walk away.

🙏 Against all odds, she made a full recovery at PACS. Now, Ginger is thriving—affectionate, loving, and craving human interaction.

😑 But Ginger’s journey isn’t over yet.

💜 We’ve been tirelessly seeking a forever home for her, but so far, no one has come forward. Without a loving family, Ginger faces a heartbreaking fate: being returned to the side of the road where she was found—a lonely future after such a miraculous recovery.

🥹 We are not a shelter; we save and heal these animals. Ginger deserves a safe, loving home where she can flourish. If we don’t find her a home by Monday, she will be released back to the streets—a fate we hope to avoid.

⛔ Please Slow Down On Koh Phangan Roads - Innocent Lives Depend On It! ⛔

😑 Today has been chaos, Again.

🚑 We’ve already rushed three dogs for X-rays, and then came another call—this time about White Boy, bleeding outside a 7-Eleven.

🚨 When we arrived, it wasn’t easy. He wasn’t bribed by food, and every step felt like a challenge. But then we managed to get a lead on him. Slowly, carefully, we guided him into the crate.

✨And then it happened—he trusted us.

💜 Once inside, it was like he knew we were there to help. No struggle, no fear—just a sweet, old soul letting us do what we needed to save him.

Now, he’s safe. But safe isn’t healed. His paw is badly cut, swollen, and needs urgent treatment. His recovery will take time, love, and resources we’re already stretched thin on.

Meet Silver 🐕

🥹He arrived last Friday in a heartbreaking state—underweight, anemic, and with a dislocated back leg after a suspected car accident. Despite his pain, Silver’s eyes still shine with resilience.

💔Sadly, Silver’s story is not unique.

🐕We’re seeing more dogs than ever at PACS who’ve been injured by speeding drivers. Our clinic is at full capacity, yet we refuse to turn these dogs away.

Every day this week, we’ll be sharing the stories of dogs—just like Silver—who are fighting to recover from traffic-related injuries.

This holiday season, our clinic is a safe haven for these precious souls. They may not have stockings to hang or chimneys to peek out of, but their wagging tails and purring hearts remind us what the season is all about: hope, healing, and love.

Thankfully, he is safe and receiving treatment, but he was wearing a collar, which makes us think he may have a family looking for him! 💔

Liam Gallagher wins PETA AWARD for adopting a homeless dog.❤️

The Oasis star adopted his dog Buttons from Happy Doggo sanctuary in Thailand last year after he was abandoned in the jungle for “not being cute enough.” Gallagher then helped to raise £25,000 to assist Happy Doggo founder Niall Harbison fund the building of an animal hospital to help other dogs in Thailand.

Now, for his good deeds, Gallagher has been awarded PETA’s “Strike the Right Chord for Animals Award.”

😻 With a piercing gaze and a fiery spirit, this 2–3-year-old boy arrived at our doorstep battered and broken.

🥺 A huge wound on his chest tells a story we’ll never fully know, paired with blood parasites that sap his strength. Whatever he’s been through, Lion didn’t give up—and neither will we.

💊 Now, Lion’s on antibiotics, having his wounds cleaned daily, and receiving fluid therapy. We’re doing everything we can to help him heal, but we can’t do it without you.
