Feeding elephants daily is crucial for their health and well-being 🐘💚. Each elephant requires approximately 200 – 400 kilograms of food per day 🍃🌾, which includes a variety of grasses as their main diet 🌿, leaves and branches from different trees 🌳, fresh fruits like watermelon 🍉 and bananas 🍌, and nutritious vegetables such as carrots 🥕 and sweet potatoes 🍠. Additionally, some supplementary feed is provided to ensure they get all the essential nutrients 🌟. Providing clean water 💧 and conducting regular health checks 🩺 are also important. Proper care ensures that elephants live happily and healthily 🌟😊.

Guidelines for Visiting 🐘 Lanta Elephant Sanctuary.

🐾 Listen to the Guide 👂: Follow the guide's instructions carefully as they will provide important information about the elephants and safety protocols.

🎋 Keep Noise Levels Low 🤫: Loud noises can startle the elephants. Please communicate softly and remain calm.

🚶‍♂️ Don’t Approach Elephants Without Permission: Elephants are large and powerful animals. Always wait for the handler's permission before getting close.

🍌 Do Not Feed the Elephants: Feeding should be done only under the supervision of the handlers to ensure the elephants receive appropriate food.

↔️ Maintain a Safe Distance: Even though the elephants may seem friendly, it's important to keep a safe distance to prevent accidents.

🚫 No Climbing or Riding Elephants: Climbing or riding elephants is not allowed and goes against the sanctuary's principles. Please avoid this for your safety and the well-being of the elephants.
