Tim Husband on Linkedin: I think as a Director, nothing is more rewarding then having a team that you can trust will get the job done.
when you have Managers, Curators, Keepers and Guides that you know will be out there doing their best for the success of the park and its goals, it seems to take a large part of the pressure off your shoulders, and allows you time to be out there yourself talking with your team and finding out how you can help them reach their own professional and personal goals.
Of course the only way you will have these people in your team is if you go out there and get to know them and their abilities.
I'm not saying that all your team can be trusted to get the job done, there will of course be those that are a drain on your park.
But the only way that you will be able to sort out the work horses from the show ponies is if you go out and talk to them yourself.
