The accident dog from this morning found nothing broken in x-ray. He doesn’t have feelings, no deep pain at all at the leg which mean serious nerves damage. 😓
Our vet gave medications but we can only hope it helps, otherwise the dog will drag the leg . We will wait now for a while and will decide when we know if the medication helped or not.

The poor dog had an accident with a bike 🏍️ he is on the way to the veterinary for an x ray. We will keep you updated. ❤️‍🩹😩

Unfortunately the swallowed hook 🪝 did not move. Dr. Tookta had to operate it and take the tangled hook away. We just hope for the lovely cat that she can recover now ❤️‍🩹

4 cases in one day and quite a lot for Koh Chang 😩 the cat has blood parasites 🦠 the second eat a fish hook 🪝 the third case has blood parasites, heart worms and tick fever as well as kidney failure. He refuses to eat 😩 and the last has a lung infection and has to stay in the clinic for now. Honestly one case a day we can handle. But four is even for us too much. We are just blessed to have such a hard working vet ❤️

We hope tomorrow is a better day 🍀🙄

We don’t know jet if we will have a happy ending 🙄 but this beautiful cat was eating a fish 🐟 with a fishing hook 🪝

The x ray showed it clearly. If the hook is not moving till tomorrow we have to operate the cat 🐈 we still hope its not nessesary. But time will tell us what to do.

Our street Team is working very hard every day. They go in the biggest heat and in the rain to feed hungry strays all over Koh Chang. Therefore we think it’s so nice if they have a good time and a great day off! They deserve it so much 🙏🏾 we are just happy we have each one of them ❣️

Street work is a hard work physically and mentally. We know that. Therefore we thank each one of them for the amazing support ❤️

Puko is paralyzed since he had an accident when he was a puppy 🐶 He was for a very long time in the clinic of Dr. Tookta. Now he’s with us for a quiet long time already ❤️ we really can say his life is worth living ❤️ our Team and our volunteers make him feel like home 🏡 and we can really say he loves our place ❤️ here he is someone and he enjoys the attention he gets like today ❤️ just a normal wonderful day at our Help Point for disabled, sick and very old dogs 🐕 ❣️

Today we neuterd Bobbys friend. Bobby is a former patient of us and it’s so nice to see him like this. He is doing really well 🍀🙄❣️

❣️ Who goes to Pattaya the next days and could take this cat to the vet there? She will be in a cage.

This cat needs an operation in Pattaya because her leg is broken 😞

Can any animal lover take her to Pattaya if you go anyway ? 🚕❣️

Today we have three cases and are somewhat speechless. A cat broke a leg, then the dog with the abscess and now this case that is once again pushing us to our limits.

A dear tourist asked for help. He bought the little dog a wheelchair, but is very worried about his legs. After we finally found the dog, the whole tragedy became apparent. The legs have open bones and the dog is on the verge of blood poisoning. The blood count is so bad that we have to wait with an operation to amputate the legs. Without the tourist's intervention, the dog's days would be numbered. But even so, it is not clear whether he will make it. Now we have to try to stabilize him, then operate and then? Then what? We will see. He has owners who love him. It is of course very difficult to look after a disabled dog. But before we think about that, he has to survive it all first. We and our lovely vet are simply doing what we can.

❤️ This beautiful dog has a lump on his chest 😞 Dr Tookta took the wather out and we hope it’s not coming again 🍀 we are more than happy it’s not cancer.

Every day we help without making a big deal. Being loud is not our style. We are more like a swiss watch - calm and ongoing ❤️‍🩹

❤️‍🩹 new arrival Maddie ❤️‍🩹

Maddie is an 11 years old German shepherd who was left behind by someone. 😞 We were asked for help by a gentleman as Maddie is obviously not well. 🙏🏾 Her skin does not look good and her eyes are infected. Maddie will now stay in our care until she gets better. She needs medical baths and medication. We hope to find out quickly what is irritating her skin, is it a fungus or other parasites. Only then can a targeted therapy be started. It will take some time before Maddie is well again. Then she can go back to the gentleman who called us for help. But for now, healing is the order of the day. We will give her the time she needs after all she has been through and we hope we can heal also her broken heart that we see in her sad eyes.

😩 Accident victim Joy 😩

Unfortunately this small dog with the name Joy got hit by a car 🚙

At the clinic the x ray showed that the hip is broken 😞 Now we have to clarify in Pattaya with Dr. Kwanchai how we should proceed. In the meantime, Joy is in our care❤️‍🩹

Unfortunately, the world keeps on turning. and although we are pausing, the next case is already imminent. This dog had a nasty tumor on his testicles. He had to be operated on. We hope he recovers quickly and that the tumor doesn’t come back.

RIP BamBam 😩🥲🌈

This are the very hard days in Animal rescue 😢 BamBam came in very poor condition to us. The blood results were really bad and her uterus was full of pus 😩 we knew that there is very little hope. But we wanted to try it. Every day she was doing a bit better and our hope raised . Today then the shock 🥲

BamBam started voimiting this morning. So we went immediately to Dr. Tookta. Unfortunately her infection was so bad that our lovely BamBam passed away at the clinic. It’s very hard to accept that some things are not in our hands and we have our limits.

We tried and failed 😞 we fall in love with BamBam and our hearts are broken ❤️❤️🌈🥲 our great volunteers have now a hard lesson to learn also 😢 our day is dark on this first of November 😢😞

BamBam we all fall in love with you in this short time we met you. Come good over the rainbow bridge 🌈 we will follow you one day 🌈 but now is time to mourn❤️ we will miss you 😢
