Steel mahachaiensis a type you will rarely ever seen getting a round of flare on command to a flare stick. A good exercise to do with your bettas so you can interact with them on command whenever you want, simple whilst your fish is flaring to a mirror or another fish slowly introduce a pen/flare stick and they will gain attention to your stick and begin flaring at it, you can do this until all you need is to point at him to gain their attention to flare and in the future they will flare at your pen without needing a mirror or another fish.
