❤️🩹ACUPUNCTURE HELPS BOONTUNG TO WALK AGAIN
Boontung was brought to the clinic after a car accident. He could not move and needed urgent assistance.
One of our volunteers usually practicing acupuncture on human patients, carried out 7 sessions and Boontung can now stand up and walk. This is big progress because he was not able feel half of his body. Boontung has now gone home to recuperate.
Acupuncture treatment can be very beneficial by increasing blood flow and releasing endorphins which possess morphine-like effects to relieve any tension.
We are so pleased with the treatment and we will carry it out on our other patients.

💛 🐶 THRIVING "THARI"
Thari was the victim of a cruel spearfishing arrow attack that narrowly missed his spine. With life threating injuries it was uncertain if he’d survive.
He’s a real fighter and went on to find his dream home with Luisa, a volunteer from Germany.
Thari and Luisa have been together for over a year and Thari is Luisa’s greatest gift, sometimes a challenge and best friend.

💥 "KORI" HIT BY CAR, ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY
Kori was following Mum across a busy road, when a car struck. The impact was devastating. Kori sustained a fractured skull and subsequent brain injury, and has been in a coma for two weeks.
Now awake and slowly eating, Kori can almost stand unaided but has a long road of therapy ahead. The damage to this tiny puppy's brain has been heartbreaking to see, but we're confident Kori will continue to fight.

💥 "COOPER" PARTIAL LIMB MISSING
Rescuer Louise Berner sat outside the hospital at 8am this morning, with her catch from last night. Cooper was spotted days ago and was an urgent priority, but only cames out late at night. The wound isn't fresh and infection will be a big hurdle.
