💥 "KORI" HIT BY CAR, ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY
Kori was following Mum across a busy road, when a car struck. The impact was devastating. Kori sustained a fractured skull and subsequent brain injury, and has been in a coma for two weeks.
Now awake and slowly eating, Kori can almost stand unaided but has a long road of therapy ahead. The damage to this tiny puppy's brain has been heartbreaking to see, but we're confident Kori will continue to fight.

💥 "COOPER" PARTIAL LIMB MISSING
Rescuer Louise Berner sat outside the hospital at 8am this morning, with her catch from last night. Cooper was spotted days ago and was an urgent priority, but only cames out late at night. The wound isn't fresh and infection will be a big hurdle.

😘 JOM'S JOURNEY!
Jom was admitted with a severe head wound. He was rushed into the hospital by ambulance with maggots, anemia and severe infection.
Jom has now successfully finished his schedule of fish skin grafts and has healed magnificently!
He is a happy and healthy boy and will live out his days at the hospital, as an Army ambassador.
🐟 ABOUT TILAPIA FISH SKIN
Tilapia skin has non-infectious microbiota, high amounts of type I collagen, and similar morphological structure to human skin. It was reportedly first used on human burns in Brazil in 2017 and saved the life of a dog in the USA in 2018. Now, it's being used by our expert Veterinarians at Animal Army.
Our pioneering team will continue to focus on innovative ways to save our homeless friends.
