Hetty is a 2-year-old, 25 kg retriever mix with a gentle heart. She's a little shy at first, but with a bit of time, her warmth and loyalty will capture your heart.

Her story began on a mountainside, where she and her two sisters were found as tiny pups, struggling to survive. A kind tourist saved them, but Hetty is still waiting for her forever home. She watches every visitor with hope, but no one has stopped for her. Now, she's starting to lose that spark, lying quietly in the corner, eyes distant, longing for a place to belong.

📢 Meet Kara – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Say hello to Kara, a sweet little girl looking for her forever home. 🏡

Kara was adopted as a puppy and lived happily with her dad in Alanya for a few years. Unfortunately, her dad had to leave Turkey and couldn't take Kara with him. He was heartbroken, and while this situation is tough, we ask that you refrain from negative comments as it won't help Kara find the love she needs.

Kara is a bit bigger than a Jack Russell, possibly a mix with Dachshund. She’s shy at first but with a little patience, she’ll warm up to you and her new surroundings. Because she’s a cautious girl, her ideal home would be one without young children. She’s a dominant dog and would do best with a calm canine companion to guide her and show her that her new family can be trusted. However, she cannot live with cats.

Kara is waiting for that special family who can offer her a loving, patient home. Is that family yours?

# Post # #: Meet Aşkım, the Brave & Social Kitten!

Aşkım was born on 04.09.23 along with 3 siblings, but sadly, one passed shortly after birth. Although Aşkım started out happily with his mother and siblings, something wasn’t right—he didn’t grow like the others. Soon, he was less than half their size and developed an eye infection, causing his left eye to close. Surgery was attempted, but it didn’t work, leaving his eye closed, though the eyeball is intact.

Due to his tiny size and special needs, Aşkım has been by my side constantly. He spent his days under my shirt or wrapped around my neck, joining me wherever I went—whether driving or shopping. This close bond has made him incredibly social and affectionate.

Aşkım gets along wonderfully with other cats, dogs, and children. He is fearless and adaptable, perfect for an indoor-only environment or a home with a secure outdoor space. However, he cannot be allowed to roam freely outside, as he could easily get hurt.

EIMEAR HAS BEEN WAITING FOR 5 YEARS 😪

Eimear and her sister Emily have been waiting for 5 long years for someone to give them a home 😟 and Eimear has still kept her happy, playful personality ❤️

Eimear goes well with dogs and children in all ages. She is not tested with cats, but that can be done.

Eimear is like a smaller sized labrador and can live in both apartment or a house with gardens. She loves her walks but her familybshould not be too active. She has no known health issues ❣️

Poor Hector.

He was living with hus family for 8 long years and thought he was safe there. Yes he was living in the garden, but he was part of a family and was happy there. And then the family moved and did not want him anymore 😞 They were on their way to give him to the public shelter where he would be killed... A neighbour took him home, but she is now in hospital for several months and can not care for him.

To avoid him getting killed he is now in our garden and is the sweetest little English Bulldog. He was trotting in my heels all day, not wanting to loose me out of sight ❤️ He even followed me in to the dog rows strutting along not bothered by the insane noice. He is so sweet and the dogs are leaving him alone not bothered by him at all.

It must be a chance for this poor old man to live his remaining years in a warm and cozy home with a family that will not abandon him when he needs their love the most.

I will try to get him checked over by a vet and get him started with vaccines and chip next week. So far he lookes very healthy though he does not enjoy the heat in the middle of the day 🙃

Good morning from little Kara.

Kara is a small girl that was adopted and lived with her father here in Alanya since she was a puppy. But her daddy had to leave Turkey and could not bring little Kara with him.
Kara needs a new family, preferrably without kids, where she can be the only pet.

Ben is looking for his forever family!

UPDATE: ADOPTED ❤️❤️

Ben is approx 2 yrs old, black/white male.

* good with kids
* good with dogs
* good with cats
* approx 15 kg
* approx 50 cm high
* walking nice on lead but can pull a little the first 2-3 minutes
* up to date on vaccines, but will need a titretest.

He was kept at the bacony for the whole days so he is not very used to living in a home yet. He will start to be house trained in September.

Ben is a sweet boy who does not need the longest walks every day, but he would not refuse them either

Little Melvin is a very strong character ❤️

As 8 weeks old he was all alone and tried to find comfort and food by the pool in a sitesi, but people there chased him away by throwing water on him and chooing him of. But little Melvin had no where to go so he came again and again crying for help. He was terribly skinny and full with fleas.

Now Melvin is looking much better and we hope someone will fall in love with him and open their heart and home for him.

Melvin loves people and cuddles. He is good with other cats and tolerates dogs.

Jeg ble visst vampyr igjen 😵‍💫

Men denne gangen var jeg heldig for det var en kattunge som satte kloa inn i øyet mitt. Jeg tror all skade er under ytre nedre side av øyenlokket men det øvre lokket er skrapet opp inne i øyenvippen så øyet verker og klistrer seg igjen hele tiden.

I have a leather sofa and full length net curtains which he has not scratched or played with. He likes to scratch on a jute mat and a scratching post. He has never been outside but loves to watch the birds out the window. I will miss him.

Hi. My name is Maria and I am the one running Strays of Alanya 👋

Do you have some energy and time to help us out? I am not asking you to adopt or sponsor, just a little bit of your time ⏰️

We have too many dogs and cats and has stopped intake and some that has been with us a very long time. We are a rescue, but are funtioning as a sanctuary. This is a very sad situation because we do not have space nor helpers to take care of them all in a healthy manner.

So, I was wondering if we have any supporters that can join me in a workshop dedicated to adopt out dogs and cats world wide?

MELVIN is stuck at the farm 😔

Melvin was rescued by Charlotte Erga over 2 years ago as a terrified little pup and as he was to stay with us until she moved to a farm. But her circumstances changed and now he is stuck here.

Breed: rotweiler mix
S*x: male
Neutered: yes
Dogs: he is high ranking and goes best with females
Cats: I would not recommend it
Children: yes over 12 years old
Health: has leishmania, kept under controll with 1 tablet every day.

Melvin would love a family, but until then he needs a sponsor 💕

HAZIE

Hazie is born approx 15.12.22 and was found by Sabina who could not leave her alone out in the cold rain.

Something had happened to her because she has a scar going over her right hind paw and the outer toa is missing.

Hazie will not get very big. She is 46 cm and 12-13 kg at the moment (02.06.23)

This girl is super sweet and loves dogs and people. Cats unknown.

She is high energy and needs a family who can give her some action and patience 💕
