To the Members of the Public,

The Grooming Association of Trinidad & Tobago (GATT) is deeply disturbed by the recent actions of Mr. Leigh Young Lum Kin, which have been brought to light by Wuff Box TT . Mr Lum Kin is not a member of the association and his actions are not in alignment with the values that we hold dear in our profession. We strongly condemn any form of mistreatment or inhumane behaviour towards animals in any capacity.

We stand in full support of Wuff Box TT and any legal or organizational measures they may take in response to these actions. The GATT firmly believes that all animals deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, and care, and we uphold the humane handling of all animals as a non-negotiable standard within the grooming and pet care industries.

As an organization, the GATT is committed to ensuring that animals are always treated in a compassionate and professional manner, and we will continue to promote the highest standards in grooming practices. We urge all members of the public and industry professionals to join us in supporting these principles.
We trust that justice will be served, and we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the well-being of all animals in Trinidad and Tobago.

Happy new year everyone. May this year be a year of abundant rescues finding homes. Less fireworks, and no missing doggies.

We as humans need to think about the things we do that affect others. We need to educate ourselves on the fact that most dogs are afraid of extremely loud noises like fireworks. They try to run, they can experience heart attacks, they can get knocked down trying to run away. Think about the dogs who dont have homes. Fives minutes of watching fireworks can cost so much dogs their life. ABSOLUTELY NO DOG OWNER SHOULD PURCHASE FIREWORKS. IF YOU PROPERLY EDUCATE YOUR KIDS ON THE EFFECTS OF FIREWORKS TO A DOG I AM SURE THEY WONT LIKE FIREWORKS.
