Cryptorchidism is the most common birth defect of male dogs. It has a genetic link and has to be addressed surgically.This occurs when the testicles fail to descend in the scrotal sac. It can sometimes descend up to 6 months after birth. All of the patients featured in this video were collaborations we did with rescue organizations. They were brought in to us for rehabilation and medical treatment by rescue groups that raised funds to cover the medical costs. Local rescue groups do an amazing job at taking these fur babies off the streets, get them rehabilitated and find homes for them.
