Dragongirl's Animal Sanctuary ~Rescuing injured stray animals ~Rehoming ~Educating ~Providing a forever home Hi, my name is Rebecca and as much as I've known myself, I've loved animals.

I grew up in a house with a lot of dogs and I was told when I was younger my mom had to keep a firm hand on me as I kept trying to hug a stray dog. I really can't remember when I began rescuing animals but I'm sure it's well over ten years now. I've been doing rescues and bearing the financial costs by myself but now it's so hard with the increasing cost of living. I hope that through this page an

d the organisation, that persons who are willing to assist animals but unable to foster or adopt them can contribute towards our initiatives. I hope that persons understand that a little love and kindness towards stray animals can go a long way. And I hope that through this organisation, persons would encourage others to have some compassion towards animals.

Today was one of those days yes.

This morning while walking Pupper, I wasn’t minding my business for five seconds and he decided to teach me a lesson by walking in front of me and abruptly stopping. I’m pretty sure I pulled something around my ankle trying to not fall over him. Of course he did hit me the side eye, swear it meant “dummy”.

Tried to take a little nap before foodie feeding time. Jumped up gasping for air because this Squirrel thought it was a good idea to rest her head on my neck. Good thing I had my phone close by because some of you would only believe Squirrel 😒

THENNNNN while feeding them Yumi decided to raise her head at the same time I was bowing down to get to her bowl. Y’all ever got an unexpected lash from a Pitt? Now my nose is hurting.

Apart from my injuries, all furbabies have been fed and they’re happy like pappi. 💞🐾

Busy feeding the dogs on Sunday, madam was upstairs busy chewing off the cord to my vacuum 😭

I had to be sleeping extremely strong last night because I have no clue when she chewed on my hair tie.

Opened a new bag of cat litter the other day, thanks to her and Obi the bag went p**f! And all the litter was on the floor 🤦🏽‍♀️

Every time she comes downstairs, she must get some thing to carry back upstairs so she can chew.

Handful is joke 🤣😂🤣 love her too bad 🩷🐾

Her body dumped in one of the areas where Pupper, Betty Boop and I walk. I’ll have to change the route for a while. Very sad to see how people just discard their pets bodies like trash. Then again they do it to pets that are alive.

This little kitten found her way at a factory site in Arima. The persons in charge wants her removed immediately. Someone is willing to pay for her first vet visit and for her spay. If anyone is interested in adopting this super friendly kitty please contact 776-4715. PLEASE SHARE 🙏

These dogs are on calmers, twice their dosage. It’s 12:30am and they’re still in this state. They’re in a secured yard and they were still running in any and all possible directions. There is no way you can tell me that fireworks make sense. Can you imagine how terrified stray animals are right now? #banfireworks #saynotofireworks #fireworkskillanimals

The next time you see an animal in need of assistance, I hope you remember this puppy’s cry for help as he’s in pain and suffering. And I hope you do something other than just take pics and post. I had to keep my hand resting on him and he was comforted by just that to get him to the vet.
