So THE PNM bring out the bad dog Dr Farrell to make HEADLINES..that Marla Dukharan analysis is a mistake ~!!!.....For any of you that want to see the data for themselves, you can find it on the CBTT website. It is under "Statistics/Handbook of Key Economic Economic and Financial Statistics/" and is the file link called "Foreign Trade, Balance of Payments and Exchange Rates". In that file, refer to "Table C.6.2". The Current Account Receipts - Current Account Payments = Current Account Balance. The Current Account Balancee figures should tie to the headline figures in "Table C.6.2 (Cont'd)", but they don't. The difference is the Net Error and Ommissions (NE & O) row at the bottom. Scrolling to the right to year 2023 shows the $2.6B missing for that year and summing those NE & O figures for years 2011 - 2023 gets the missing total of $25B.
