A sweet 10 year old female dog was presented at the clinic for strange behaviour when urinating. On palpating the abdomen, hard masses were felt in the urinary, bladder.
The doggy was xrayed and 3 large masses were observed in the area where the bladder should be.
The owners chose to allow surgery to be performed for the removal of these stones, but first, blood work was done to ensure her kidneys and liver were in good shape to handle the surgery/anesthesia.
Visit our page again tomorrow, so we can tell you what caused the stones, and how to help prevent this from happening to your pets.
