Buddy got Castrated and he’s in our recovery room.
His surgery was a success and Buddy will be back to his normal self in just a few days. Our CEO, Maddison, is making sure Buddy is not disturbed. She has had a day full of surgeries and is taking a catnap also.
Why do we castrate dogs?
Neutering/Castration decreases the chances of developing prostatic disease, hernias and eliminates the chances of developing testicular cancer. It also reduces problems with territorial and sexual aggression, eliminates unwanted pregnancies, inappropriate urination (spraying) and other undesirable male behaviours. Castrated dogs also tend to live longer and healthier lives.
Buddy will not be bothering the girls anymore.
