*Important Notice to Our Community*

We understand that finding an abandoned or stray pet is a difficult situation, and we’re grateful for your compassion in wanting to help these animals. However, leaving pets at our doorstep without notice is not the best solution for them—or for us.

As a small clinic with only one veterinarian and one assistant, we are limited in our resources. Taking in rescues requires significant time, care, and financial resources. When a pet is left with us unexpectedly, it adds pressure on our staff to balance the daily responsibilities of caring for our patients and managing appointments with the round-the-clock needs of a new rescue.

This includes feeding multiple times a day, teaching them to eat on their own, checking in on holidays and days off, training them to use a litterbox, and providing love, attention, and warmth.

While we are committed to helping animals in need, we also have to make sure that we’re equipped to provide them with the best possible care. When you abandon a pet, you’re passing the responsibility onto someone else without considering the ongoing support these animals require.

We urge anyone who finds a stray or abandoned pet to reach out to us, your regular veterinarian or local rescues before taking action or even consider caring for them until you can find a home for them. Together, we can find a way to give these animals a brighter future—responsibly.

Meet Christmas Lucky! He came to us on Monday on death’s door, now just in 5 days time he is quite a little love bug! Contact us if you would like to foster or adopt. He will be an amazing addition to any home. He has the sweetest personality and loves everything! Most of all he loves cuddles, hearing what a good boy he is and hearing stories of other rescues who are living their best lives.
