Did you know that our cats belly flaps have nothing to do with fat? 🧐
It is actually loose skin which is called "primordial pouch", and is there as heritage from the felines ancestors.

The primordial pouch serves three interesting purposes:

1. Protection: This extra skin acts as a shield of protection for vital organs located in this region. And it can be very useful during a fight, especially since cats tend to turn belly-up at some moments in the fight, using their hind legs to kick their opponent.

2. Flexibility: Excess skin in this area allows the belly to stretch more and facilitate the necessary movements during jumps and runs.

3. Abdominal Expansion: The primordial pouch also helps expand the abdomen, allowing cats to store large quantities of food. Of course, this function is more useful in nature for wild cats, where they can stay several days without finding a potential hunt. When they do finally find food, it's better that they are able to ingest large volumes of it...

在我的童年時我們養過很多貓。後來我們的第一隻暹羅貓加入了我們後，那時就是我們養殖熱情的開始。 在2011年，我們決定要改變養一種非常美麗和特殊的品種,之前我對它們著迷了很長一段時間。孟加拉豹貓。這就是我們第一隻豹貓(DAO)搬來的原因。 同時，另一個驚人的品種也不離我的腦海。我覺得特別令人印象深刻的 虎貓，牠們的美是不輸孟加拉豹貓的，特別是它們均衡的特點。 在2012年12月，Velia和Hope's Child的到來我終於可以實現這個夢想。 沒有文字或圖片可以充分說明這兩個美妙的品種，只有實際與牠們在一起過才知道。 現在我與我丈夫共同繁殖這美麗的動物. 我們本來是在瑞士蘇黎世附近的一間小型貓舍。現在我們到台灣繼續發展。 我們的育種目標是提高健康，友好，與美麗閃閃發光的小貓。在繁殖虎貓的發展，我們專注於色彩，花紋， 和頭部的形狀。另一個特別的方面是創造白色肚子的虎貓。
