📏How to Choose the Right Leash Width
If it's your first time picking a leash, you're probably wondering which width is best.
Let’s break it down!

When choosing the width, consider three main aspects:

⭐ Start with Your Dog’s Size
For dogs under 10kg (Toy/Small Dogs): 9mm / 13mm
For dogs between 11-25kg (Medium Dogs): 9mm / 13mm / 16mm
For dogs over 26kg (Large Dogs): 13mm / 16mm

⭐ Your Dog’s Walking Habits
✅ Calm walkers: You can choose any width that feels comfortable.
❗ Reactive/strong pullers: Go for a wider leash to increase overall durability.

For example:
A 25kg dog who walks calmly: 9mm to 16mm works!
An 8kg dog who tends to pull: 13mm is a better choice.

⭐ Your Preferred Feel and Weight
9mm: Super slim and lightweight, ideal for long leashes (5-10m). Some find it gives a burning sensation when pulling, but it's perfect for gentle dogs.

13mm: A balanced choice, great for first-time buyers.

16mm: Popular with pullers and large breeds, offering the most grip and durability, though it’s heavier for both dog and parent.

Did you know a dog’s pulling force can be 5-6 times their body weight?
That means a 20kg dog can pull with a force of 100-120kg!

📏4 Buckles Harness: How to accurately measure neck girth?
Since the launch of our 4 Buckles Harness, many NAAY friends have encountered some challenges with measurements. Where exactly should the tape measure go? How do you know if the size is correct? No worries, we're here to help!👇

1️⃣ Step 1
Grab a measuring tape and make sure your furry friend is standing on all fours.

2️⃣ Step 2
Wrap the tape measure around the correct spot on your dog’s neck.
❗Important Notes❗
⭐ Check the image for the exact position.
⭐ Measure the widest part of the neck, avoiding the shoulder blades.
⭐ Tighten the tape until it presses down all the fur, but be careful not to cause any discomfort.

3️⃣ Step 3
Adjust the tape so that you can fit three fingers flat underneath.

4️⃣ Step 4
Take a photo or record a video, and you're done!
Feel free to send us the photos or videos via PM, we’re happy to help verify if the measurement is correct!
Please note, if any adjustments are needed later, repair fees may apply. We'll be announcing the adjustment methods and costs soon, so stay tuned!

📣 Officially Returning Tomorrow
Sorry to keep everyone waiting!
Our hardware equipment has been through several challenges, and before we knew it, a month had flown by 🙈
After confirming that the old machine couldn't be repaired, we urgently ordered a new one.
It traveled all the way from Japan to Taiwan by ship.
Then, we had to set it up and adjust it to be suitable for sewing our products.
Because BioThane material is extremely rare and has mixed internal and external characteristics, each necessary component had to be continuously tested.
The technician who came three times to help replace parts smiled wryly and said, "The materials you use are really difficult to handle!"

Yes, BioThane is indeed very challenging to work with—it's both thin and thick, with composite materials.
We need to use a high-strength industrial sewing machine and thread to properly sew three layers together.
For the safety of the dogs and to ensure parents can use it with peace of mind, we reinforce every leash and harness with sewing.
The tensile strength of leashes and harnesses can't be ensured by a few rivets alone.
Therefore, each product requires a longer production time.
This is why we didn't hesitate to invest in a Japanese-made industrial sewing machine this time.
We apologize for the long wait and are truly grateful for your patience and understanding 🥹

🏝️ Spring Break Announcement
Following the successful conclusion of our Mother's Day event yesterday, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

We want to express our thanks to all NAAY friends for your support and encouragement since our reopening.

Next, we would like to express our gratitude for the dedication of our family.

"Take care of yourself first, then take care of your dog."

Since fracturing my foot at the end of February this year, I have truly experienced how crucial family support is.

Over the past two months, relying on crutches indoors and wheelchair outdoors, I even need assistance to drink a glass of water.

I couldn't take care of myself, let alone Haru's daily life.

All the responsibility fell on my partner’s shoulders, and adapting to such a different lifestyle took a toll on Haru as well.

This accident has taught our family a valuable lesson, and now it's time for some much-needed rest and relaxation.

To celebrate getting rid of the crutches and to show appreciation for our family, we will be taking a long break next week (5/20-26)!

The development of the 4 Buckles Harness has been a project close to our hearts. From Haru's puppy days to now, despite countless positive reinforcement and training sessions with harness, whenever Haru prepares for a walk, there's a noticeable increase in stress as he's about to put his head through the circle of the harness. He'd turn his head, lick his lips, with an expression that clearly says, "I don't like it, but I'll endure it just to go for a walk."
