We are so committed and dedicated to save animal lives. This is a patient who has a very severe tick borne fever (sister to Malaria in humans). He had been down for 3 days, extremely lethargic and anemic. We always do our level best to give them a second chance to live.

This is an X-ray pic of a previously stray puppy (BOB). He was knocked by a boda inside Mulago hospital roads early morning over a week ago. The whole femur bone was completely fractured. Luckily a group of kind people called our team to help the poor baby. Our dedicated team managed to fix the fracture using a bone plate. We are now on our way to recovery. We shall share an update in two months time.

This is Apu, a 2year old spit Mix benefiting from our blood transfusion program. He came in at Midnight gasping for breath. Family was so worried about the fate of this fluffy son. The prognosis was obviously grave. He had the biggest tick infestation ever. The ticks caused severe anemia (Hb = 1.9g/dl, this is the lowest I have seen in a dog alive).

We are blessed with very generous blood donors (dogs) who gave us 2units of whole blood. This help resurrect Apu from the worst. He is now very stable, drinking and eating fine. Now all our efforts are directed towards eliminating all this ticks covering the poor baby, treat him from the tick bone complications and see him get back to his normal self. Apparently, we are moving the right direction.

Ours is to try our level best to save lives. This is Maguja, a 2 year old "German shepherd" (Dwarf). She is struggling with complications of Tick fever. Her platelet count was extremely low by the time she came in our Clinic. We had to support her life with a blood transfusion.

This is a healing surgical wound of Coco, a senior female mixed dog who had recently develop a breast cancer. The cancer started as a small lump close to one of her teats which later bruised to form an open and infected wound.

Luckily, we managed to perform a successful surgical operation to extract the cancer. Her surgical wound is now healing so perfect and her general wellbeing more promising.

Breast cancers a.k.a Mammary Tumors, are common conditions in intact senior female dogs especially those that have a history of contraceptive medications. The solution is surgical intervention. Spaying your dog by your veterinarian also greatly lowers the chances of mammary tumor development.

Today, Pachu a 1year old male maltese came in from Bukoto to be neutered (castrated). His surgery was successfully done under general anesthesia by our experienced veterinary surgeon, Dr. Steven.

We always recommend to our clients to neuter their pets for the known benefits. Neutering stops your pet from exhibiting sexual related behaviors and reproduction, prevents some types of cancers, extends life span, etc.

In the longrun, you improve the health of your pet and also contribute to the control of abandoned pet population in your community.
