Hello friends, I am JOHN and i wish to extend my sincere thanks to our supporters who have at all times been there for us during each activity we are performing while rescuing animals. It is very difficult in Uganda to raise awareness and funds to support our mission and it is our dedicated supporters who send us funds, words of encouragement, directed us on what we are supposed and not supposed to do during our journey of rescuing and saving animals. They also find ways of contributing to our activities so as to full fill our missions, values, motives and goals of our mighty organisation. We are very humbled and glad to have you in this journey we are on.

However, despite our dedicated donors support, we are still facing a lot more hindrances which distort the smooth running of our activities and thus we find it hard to operate as planned by our mission.

Another goal is to accomplish the construction of the main kennel for the dogs. This main kennel is where we feed, have space for mothers and babies and indoor spaces for the dogs to sleep.

In Uganda, people still need to be educated on the humane treatment of animals.. We want to organize a massive exhibition on how to rear and handle pets to reduce on the chances of mistreating the dogs. We want to work together as one community and speak the same voice about it.

Some of our good donors have been targeted by a person called Burger Benjamin. This person claims that I am mistreating my dogs and that they have been taken from me and transported to a safe place. Then requests funds for their care.

This Burger Benjamin contacted me to supply photos to him about our operation under the pretence of wanting to be a sponsor.

After receiving the requested photos he then contacted a John Dog donor and requested assistance in transportation my dogs to a safe haven.

The donor recognized photos supplied by the scammers that were duplicates of photos sent in an earlier day chat from John Bosco.

This person claims l do not have my dogs. This is a outright lie and my followers can easily connect with me in video chats at my shelter to preview my rescues in their home.

As you can see the puppies are grown enough to eat on their own.
But growing puppies need more than milk to eat.

After paying rent little to nothing is left in our coffers for food. Puppies need proper nutrition to grow healthy.

No one likes to get a shot but they are much needed.

As you seen earlier this past week we had to fumigate the shelter and the pups for fleas. Due to this infestation it has caused the pups to have tapeworms. Our veterinarian at Annema Vet Pharmacy has recommended all the residents be dewormed. With 16 rescues at $7 a shot is more that we have in our budget.

Please help us out in getting the medicine we need for our shelter residents by donating or sponsoring a pup.

Chancz is the 4th rescue of this weekend. Chancz is a very sweet dog, with a mild and timid disposition.

He was very nervous at first but he is starting to adapt to being with the other pups at the shelter.

Including the cat Pritz we have 16 mouths to feed. Please help us to be able to feed our rescue animals and provide the necessary care they need to continue to be healthy for possible adoption.

John Dog Foundation is a community based non-profit facility in Kassanda Town, Unganda and relies on donations to support our shelter.
