Just a reminder that patience will make your dog training less stressful for you and your dog.
Sophie is learning "go to your place"
When she doesn't immediately do what I've asked, it's tempting to ask again. Or to get a treat and lure her to where I want her. But she's clever. If I give her a moment to process what I've asked for, she remembers that "place" means go to my cot and lie down.
The cue is "place" not "place place place, down down down "
Board and Train puppy Tucker is an enthusiastic student!
My dogs walk nicely on leash.
I don't use any special tools.
I don't yank the lead
I don't hold my dogs on a short lead at my side.
I don't command them to HEEL
I give them snacks, and I play with them.
That's it.
They like to be with me and I like to be with them.
You don't have to command and control your dogs every movement.
You just don't.
Stay and Train puppy Duchess is up early and working hard.

Walking 2 dogs at once can be challenging! Add a baby stroller and that's next level!!
Rhea and Rosie are getting ready to welcome a tiny human.
Vacuuming with a puppy!
I could waste my energy telling him "NO" or "BE QUIET "
Or I can ask him to do something different. If he's lying on his cot, he can't be chasing the vacuum.
Good boy Loki!!
Can your dog ignore big distractions? Unalli can!
When I walk with my dogs, I don't require them to be in a heel. I don't even require them to be at my side. All I ask, is that they dont tear my rotator cuff and that they acknowledge my existence when I ask them to.
I want my dogs to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells on our walk. Not be mindless robots at my side.
