Two good dogs enjoying off leash freedom โค๏ธ
This is what leave it should look like. No yanking no yelling no repeating.
The biggest mistake folks make is to try and teach leave it in the moment that they need it. Teach it beforehand so that when you need it it's going to work.
As 2024 comes to a close, I want to thank you all for trusting me to be your dog trainer. When I opened my center, I wanted a place where people felt welcomed and had fun. I love what I do and I'm grateful to all of you.
I'm looking forward to a 2025 full of good dogs and great owners. My goal is to help more dog owners learn that dog training is a joy and not a job.
Happy New Year!
Play with your dogs.
You don't need to be their leader.
Be their friend
Just a reminder that it's no one's fault but yours if you're shopping last minute.
Don't be demanding like this guy!
Congratulations to our newest CGC and CGCA title holders!

๐พ๐ถ **The Importance of Play in Dog Training!** ๐พ๐
Hey dog lovers! ๐โจ Did you know that playtime is not just for fun, but also a crucial component of effective dog training? Hereโs why incorporating play into your training routine is so important:
1. **Enhances Learning**: Dogs learn best when they are engaged and having fun! Incorporating games like fetch or tug-of-war can make training more enjoyable and help reinforce positive behaviors.
2. **Strengthens Bonding**: Playtime creates a deeper connection between you and your furry friend. This bond fosters trust and makes your dog more willing to learn and comply with commands.
3. **Reduces Stress**: Training sessions can sometimes be overwhelming for dogs. By adding play, you can alleviate anxiety and create a positive learning environment.
4. **Channel Energy**: Dogs are naturally energetic, and play helps channel that energy in a constructive manner, leading to better focus during training sessions.
5. **Improves Obedience**: When training is fun, dogs are more likely to respond to commands and practice their skills. This playful approach lays the foundation for a well-mannered pup.
So donโt forget to mix in some playtime with your training sessions! Your dog will love it, and you'll see fantastic results. ๐ฅณ๐พ๐

I intended to do a #MotivationalMonday post today. However I've got a cold and I'm not feeling particularly motivated! So instead, I chucked their breakfast out in the yard and while they were eating, I collected up enough toys to keep them occupied so I could read my book in peace.
