โTwas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
But amidst all the excitement and holiday cheer,
There was one little pup who was filled with fear.
For tomorrow would bring guests and laughter and joy,
And he needed to behave well, oh boy!
So his owner decided to do some training that night,
Teaching him to sit, stay, and not bark with all of his might.
They practiced some tricks and commands that were new,
And the pup learned quickly, eager to please and to do.
With patience and love, they worked side by side,
Building their bond and filling him with pride.
As the night drew to a close, and they settled in bed,
The pup felt more confident, no more fear and dread.
On Christmas Day, the pup was a star,
Behaving so well, no barking at cars.
He greeted the guests with a wag and a lick,
And everyone marveled at how well he did click.
So remember, dear dog owners, the power of training so tight,
For with patience and love, your pup will shine bright.
May your pup be well behaved, and bring you much delight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
