“Thank you for the 4th time to Ms. Meredith and the Schnauzers of Stonebrooke! Adoption day was the day before New Year’s Eve! He arrived about a month older/later than our previous adoptions so his potty training skills were more advanced than our others. All of their puppies come with a name and we like to keep it, “german-ize” it or make it their middle name. Hence Lainey became Layla Lainey four years ago and she’s very healthy and thriving. Ember became Emmy Ember; she was the runt of her litter, the true Alpha of our mini pack. She’s also an escape artist. our blue eyed devil with nick name “Houdini.” Axle, our first boy became Aksel Von Brunn and was adopted around my August 2023. Recently after living in Atlanta for almost three years, I am moving for the first time and my wife is returning to her hometown of Aiken and the great state of South Carolina! As such an honor of the move and in honor of the new year, Meredith was kind enough to hook us up with baby new year a.k.a. Cole, which when Germanized becomes Kohl… He was about eight weeks older than most adoptions at four months versus 2 1/2 months, which was when we picked up our other puppies. Meredith run a tight ship so he’s already mostly potty trained and he’s quite a character which was what we needed to bring Aksel out of being a bit reserved and always being in the small shadow of his alpha female older sister Emmy. I’m telling you if you get one of these puppies, they’re like having kids, which is what makes them so special our 10-year-old daughter Olivia Wrenn has made Kohl her own and rightfully so b/c she was next in line to get a pup of her own. So thank you again. I just wanted to give you this update and show you some of the images we’ve taken over the past month.”

“Jack comes to work with me every day, I own a dog grooming salon and he is the shop man in charge.
He loves his baths, but he hates when I put a bow tie on him. He will sit in the same spot for hours, frozen, until I take the whatever it is he is wearing off of him.
No drama, just stillness.

“ Hi, I want to make a complaint about Merry. I'm not sure how you handle complaints, but hopefully, we can reach a resolution that satisfies both of us.

When I first brought home this pint-sized whirlwind of fur, I realized immediately—I'd been duped. You promised me a puppy with a "medium temperament," but I got a 3-pound diva with enough s***k to power a Broadway production.

You left me completely unprepared for her level of chaos and cunning. She strutted into my home as if she owned the place, and within minutes, she'd claimed my favorite blanket, my bed, and my heart.

Now I'm stuck, utterly at her mercy, being bossed around like an unpaid assistant. She's turned my once peaceful life into a full-blown sitcom, complete with dramatic head tilts and sassy side-eyes.

Would I return her? Absolutely not. I'm entirely and hopelessly satisfied with her—and honestly, a little terrified of what she might do if I even considered returning her. She has exceeded my expectations, thank you so much!

What a joyful time! 🎄 These sweeties would love to be under your tree this year.

A question I get a lot is “Are your Schnauzers good with kids?” Yes, they are raised around them and absolutely love them! They love to play and also learn to be gentle. This is Kane playing with my son Theo.

We are all ok! We are without power and cell service, estimated to be out for about 4-5 days. We are so blessed, we did have about 40 trees go down but none damaged our house or doggie house. If you need to reach us, you can message on Facebook or try texting at (864) 378-5772 as I do have wifi when the generator is running.

How could today get any better? Surrounded by Schnauzer babies and sunshine ☀️

Samantha’s babies are six weeks old and had their first haircuts! It’s amazing the difference it makes! Check out the before and after of Wren in the comments.
