This sweet boy is Houston – just over 1 year old and overflowing with love. His brother Frank was lucky enough to find a foster home a few weeks ago, and now it’s Houston’s turn to shine. 💫

Houston has one of those special smiles that melts hearts. He’s gentle, friendly, and always ready to play – but don’t let his goofy side fool you… his favorite thing might just be snuggling up close for a nap. 🐶💕

He’s been patiently waiting for his chance to leave the shelter and find a family to call his own. Could that be you?

You should never leave your dog alone in the car when the outside temperature is below freezing or above 70 degrees. Dogs with thicker fur or short skulls (brachycephalic breeds) are more susceptible to heat stroke. It is never safe to leave a dog alone in a car, even with the windows down.

If you see a dog in a vehicle unattended, please contact the police department.
