Two of our awesome volunteers will be at Pet Supermarket in Southern Pines today from 1-3pm with Rocky!
Rocky is heartworm positive but being prepped for treatment. Rocky loves people of all ages. He has been good around his Foster’s cat (he is always monitored and never left alone with her), and their other dogs. He does seem to prefer female canine friends over males but has done really well in his Foster’s home with their dogs of both genders.
Rocky has a lot of awesome potential. He doesn’t know a stranger and loves meeting new people.

Our sweet girl Ruby is still looking for her forever home!
She thrives in an active environment, ideally as the only dog or with calm canine companions. While she's not suitable for young children, she would do well with teenagers and older.
Ruby is both house and crate trained. With plenty of energy, she needs either a yard to play in or an active owner. Believed to be a beagle mix with longer legs, she's a real sweetheart who forms bonds quickly. Ruby adores attention and aims to please; she already knows how to sit, shake, and lie down.
Overall, Ruby is an easygoing girl who just needs someone to believe in her.

Our sweet girl Izzy is so overdue for a family! She needs a home without small animals (she’s only 30lbs)! She would do best with one or two playmates. She is now house trained, crate trained and excelling at life. While still shy, she has begun to blossom thanks to her Foster’s! #adoptabledogs #adoptdontshop #adoptme

Izzy is a shy girl who joined our rescue a year ago. Izzy joined when she was just 5-6 weeks old. This sweet girl is now a year old and ready for a home who will love and cherish her.
She is only about 30/35lbs, spayed and fully vaccinated. Izzy is dog friendly (30+lbs) but not cat friendly.
We would love for Izzy to find a patient adopter who will give her time to adjust and blossom like she deserves. She loves to run and play, so a yard is a must for her.
We would prefer a foster to adopt to ensure she is a great match for her future family.

Today marks our two-year anniversary as a nonprofit!
We genuinely could not have reached this milestone without the support of our community. Our volunteers, fosters, adopters, and friends have made this journey possible.
We’ve shared countless touching moments in our rescue work, and while we've faced some heartbreaking losses, the joy of saving lives makes it all worthwhile.

Meet Charlie and Ozzie, two charming cats still on the hunt for their purrfect homes!
Charlie is a stunning orange and white tabby, while Ozzie is a sleek black kitty with a little white patch on his chest.
These friendly boys are fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for indoor living. They’re pros at using the litter box and love lounging on cat trees, bird watching from the windows, and playing around.
Though they’re adults, they’re just over a year old and ready to bring lots of fun and joy to your home!

Did you miss Puppy Yoga?
Oliver and Sabrina stole the show!
We broke Sabrina out of the shelter yesterday to bring her to our event. She had been in the shelter for over a month with absolutely no interest! We’ve been told she is full grown and not expected to get bigger. She has been aged at right at a year old.
As you can tell she loves other dogs and would be a great playmate to children or another playful pup. She weighs under 35lbs and will make an excellent addition to any household.
Sabrina is now being fostered and is available through our rescue 🥰
