Harmony update 💕 It is now two weeks post surgery since Harmony went in for her procedure. The vets ended up removing 3 mammary tumors. The biopsy came back and confirmed these tumors to be benign. Harmony, now Honey, has been recovering great. She is happily settled into her forever home and thriving. We appreciate all the support and donations to help us get her the great care she needed. We also want to say thank you to our friends at Pinehurst Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic for all they did to ensure Honey was happy and healthy!

Good morning from Miles 💕 Our cute little guy is full of personality and spunk. He has only had two accidents inside since joining our rescue and appears to be catching on to house training extra fast! As you can see, he’s a happy smiler! So far Miles is doing absolutely wonderful with children and other dogs. We have not yet had him around cats to test his personality out that way. Miles is a high energy smaller guy. He would do best with an active home! He currently joins his foster on 3mile runs daily and is loving it! As the leaves start to change and the crisp fall air sets in, our pups are embracing the season in style! We need a foster take over commitment for Izzy! She is shy, but warms up great. She needs a fenced in yard. She is not ideal with cats or small animals. She is child friendly. She is house trained. Message us if you can help! We need a commitment by Saturday! 💕

Two of our awesome volunteers will be at Pet Supermarket in Southern Pines today from 1-3pm with Rocky! Rocky is heartworm positive but being prepped for treatment. Rocky loves people of all ages. He has been good around his Foster’s cat (he is always monitored and never left alone with her), and their other dogs. He does seem to prefer female canine friends over males but has done really well in his Foster’s home with their dogs of both genders. Rocky has a lot of awesome potential. He doesn’t know a stranger and loves meeting new people. Stop by and say hi today! He will love the attention and who knows.. maybe you’ll meet a new best friend 💕

Our sweet girl Ruby is still looking for her forever home! She thrives in an active environment, ideally as the only dog or with calm canine companions. While she's not suitable for young children, she would do well with teenagers and older. Ruby is both house and crate trained. With plenty of energy, she needs either a yard to play in or an active owner. Believed to be a beagle mix with longer legs, she's a real sweetheart who forms bonds quickly. Ruby adores attention and aims to please; she already knows how to sit, shake, and lie down. Overall, Ruby is an easygoing girl who just needs someone to believe in her. Our sweet Izzy girl! Izzy is a shy girl who joined our rescue a year ago. Izzy joined when she was just 5-6 weeks old. This sweet girl is now a year old and ready for a home who will love and cherish her. She is only about 30/35lbs, spayed and fully vaccinated. Izzy is dog friendly (30+lbs) but not cat friendly. We would love for Izzy to find a patient adopter who will give her time to adjust and blossom like she deserves. She loves to run and play, so a yard is a must for her. Today marks our two-year anniversary as a nonprofit! We genuinely could not have reached this milestone without the support of our community. Our volunteers, fosters, adopters, and friends have made this journey possible. We’ve shared countless touching moments in our rescue work, and while we've faced some heartbreaking losses, the joy of saving lives makes it all worthwhile. Thank you for your ongoing support.
