Holidays are fast approaching and we want to get all your pups freshened up for the festivities! We will be making adjustments to our schedules to open up a few more appointment spots to our days from now through Christmas. For those clients with already scheduled appointments, if adjustments need to be made to your appointment we will automatically send a reschedule message with your new time on your already scheduled date. If there are any conflicts with your new appointment times please reach out to us.

✨ NOW HIRING: Dog Bather

If you love working with dogs, have great communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

•Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 8AM-4:30pm
•Pay: Biweekly
•Duties:
- Bathing and drying dogs
- Brushing out coats and prepping dogs for grooming
- Cleaning and sanitizing grooming areas
- Assisting groomers as needed
•Qualifications:
- Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Ability to handle dogs safely and patiently
- Willingness to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending
- Independently stay on task
- Reliable transportation
- Experience is not required, we are willing to train

Dog adoption fees have been reduced to $100!
Cat adoption fees have returned to donation based fees! This means that you are welcome to give a monetary donation or else pick up some supplies from the list to help feed our wayward pets, in lieu of the regular adoption fee!

We are full, full, full. There is no room in the Inn. We have closed to cat intakes from the public(still taking in strays via Animal Control). We have fosters waiting to bring their pets back for adoption, but no where for them to go when they get here.

So please put ID on your pets, keep them contained, be responsible for the animals in your care. The easiest way to save a pet right now, is to keep yours.

✨ Good morning! We wanted to take time to refresh and go over some of our salon policies that we will be enforcing heavily going forward.

Drop offs and pick ups:
We would love to spend all day with your dogs, but with five staffed groomers and limited space/time, we are only able to accommodate so many dogs in the salon at one time. This is especially important in order to continue operating a free roaming salon. Per our service agreement, dogs can be dropped off a half hour before their appointment and need to be picked up within the hour of receiving our text that they are ready to go. If other arrangements need to be made we just ask that be discussed in advance before your appointment to make adjustments if able. Fees will be applied for late drop offs and pick ups.

No shows and Cancellations:
For our small business and our staff, this is a full time job and only way of income. We rely on so many scheduled appointments per day. We know life can get hectic and things can come up that conflict with scheduled appointments. We ask for a 48 hour cancellation notice in order to ensure we can fill those appointment slots and with our booked out schedules this helps potentially open spots up for you to reschedule in a timely manner. Fees will be applied for last minute cancellations. No notice or same day cancellations will result in a fee of 100% of the estimated services scheduled.

Vaccinations:
ALL dogs must be up to date on their rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines. For new or current clients with expired vaccines, in order to keep your appointment, we will need a copy of proof for all three at least 72 hours before your scheduled date. You can drop off paper copies, text a photo to our business number or you/your vet can email those to us at [email protected]

✨ If you’ve been into our salon, to any of our events, or ran into us out and about, you’ve probably had the pleasure of meeting our sweet but spicy frenchie, Ferguson.

We know he has won over many hearts and at this time, we would be so greatly appreciative to our followers if you would take some time to keep our little man in your thoughts and prayers while he is currently under the absolute best care at Dakota Pet Care. He is quite our stubborn little fighter but he could really use all the good vibes right now!
