DRIVERS NEEDED!!!

Love animals? Love to travel? How about combining both? Twilight Furry Friends Transport is seeking rescue transport drivers to help transport dogs and cats from Texas to the Northeastern U. S. We are based in Abilene, TX, travel every other Wednesday and are gone 6 days at a time. Choose how often you travel! Lots of flexibility available. We are looking for full time and backup drivers.

Applicants must have a clean driving record, good personality, the ability to safely handle a large vehicle, be willing and able to follow safe handling and sanitation protocols with the animals, willingness to clean kennels when needed and must love fur babies. Must be able to bend and lift at least 50 lbs. Pay is $120 per day plus $50 per day per diem.

Every day😪

Every time we are asked to take an owner surrender, we scramble to make room on our little rescue boat. When an owner says stuff like, “I don’t have time to give them the best life” or “I have to move” or “they have too much anxiety” it really falls flat because that means if we bring them on our tiny boat, another dog out there drowns 🛟

Every day we have to decide whose life gets to be spared by gate keeping who can get on our boat. We just don’t have the room to save every dog.

Rescues and shelters are the tiny rescue boats.

The iceberg is comprised of puppy mills, careless owners, backyard breeders, and a$$hats who won’t spay/neuter.

The titanic is our community.
