As your pet ages, you may notice they are slower to get up, maybe not as active, limping etc. Joint health starts with weight management, but there are other things that can help. We recommend starting your fur friend on a joint supplement around 7 years of age. Our favorite joint supplements are Dasuquin and Yumove which are available in our clinic! It is Parvovirus season. We see the number of PARVO patients increase in the spring time. Learning to catch the symptoms early can help but the best way to prevent this virus is to start vaccines at 6-8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks of age, then once a year after.
