Recently, one of our groomers, Robin, was able to attend a grooming expo in PA, where she sharpened her skills to better serve your grooming needs. Robin is already an exceptional groomer, but she learned more about new techniques, and about proper skin care, and recognizing skin conditions that would require a doctor's assessment. She was even able to enjoy some time away while there, and toured Gettysburg. We appreciate all the talent Robin brings to our team

Let's all clap our paws for Lisa, who has been with us for 34 years! Lisa has worked in many positions at the hospital over the years and is now one of our overnight nurses, taking care of your hospitalized patients while you sleep. Lisa has rescued countless puppies and kittens over the years, providing care, many times out of her own pocket. She has been a dedicated member of our team and we are so happy to have her here!

Next up on the '30 Plus Years' Roster is Dr John Roberts! Dr Roberts is in his 36th year here at Highlands. Talk about commitment! He's loved by the whole staff and certainly by all his furry patients. Its easy to find him teaching someone a thing or two; or making someone laugh. He's been an exemplary Veterinarian for his career here and we couldn't be more proud to have him as part of our team!

And we aren't finished yet with the '30+ years' associates here! Let's hear it for Nina, our dedicated grooming supervisor, who has been here for more than 35 years now! Nina can groom any breed, and has a long list of loyal clients. In her career, Nina has also been an invaluable member of Black Diamond Search and Rescue, winning awards and training many live find and cadaver dogs over the past 15 years. She has done obedience and behavioral training with dogs practically her whole adult life. We are so grateful for Nina's knowledge and expertise as part of our team!

We are very fortunate to have multiple associates who have been with us for more than 30 years. Linda is one of our groomers, and has been a dedicated member of the hospital, offering her expertise in professionally grooming all breeds. Linda enjoys showing miniature poodles in her spare time. We are so grateful to have Linda as part of our staff, and we know all of her dedicated clients feel the same way! Let's hear it for Linda!

We are celebrating some of our long term associates! Let's hear it for Pam, who has been here for 30 years as a dedicated member of our front desk team. Pam is our 'cat lady' and has spent years educating clients on taking care of kittens and adult cats. She has a genuine heart for all animals and has been a rock to our team for a long time, training many new people in the position. We are so grateful she's here and hope she's here for a long time to come!
