First time hatching fry using a German Breeding Ring. Looks like it worked pretty good! This is our first batch of Aphyosemion bivittatum killis!
Ok these have to be the smallest fry of any fish….right?? These are 5 day old threadfin rainbow fry on full zoom! Glad there’s lots of algae in their tub so I don’t have to worry about feeding them as much haha
Least favorite day!! Cleaning sponge filters and tank lids. #smallworldaquatics
The colors on these swordtails pop!
One of our breeding projects in the outdoor tubs. A long fin rice fish! Really hoping to get some babies from them!
Outdoor tubbing season is starting off well, lots of rice fish babies growing out in the nursery tub!

Chindongo salousi is a dwarf mbuna species from lake Malawi. We find them less aggressive than other mbuna species and plant friendly to hardier plants such as Anubias and bolbitis. The sub dominant males and females are yellow and dominate males turn a beautiful blue.
A little update on the red chinned panchax breeding project, they are starting to look like fish now 🤪
After struggling to get them going we know have 3 groups of different ages growing out!
