WANTED: Forever homes for lab rats 🐀

Yes, that's right: if you're looking for intelligent, playful companions, the Department of Psychology at Millersville University has eight wonderful female rats ready to find their forever homes. These friendly and good-tempered Long-Evans rats (around 7 months old) participated in a behavioral study this past spring semester and are now seeking loving families.

This is one morning, one building, at One Liberty Place. We should not accept this as “okay.” Talk to your building managers at work, your neighbors, and friends about bird collisions and how preventable they are! Products like Feather Friendly Bird Collision Deterrent Markers that last a decade or more! Other methods such as Acopian strings or Collidescape can also last for years. This doesn’t have to be an all or nothing approach. You could have a problem side of a building or home. You may also have just a problem window. Please take ACTION today. Don’t wait until you have a bird collision or the next one.

Dynasty has been waiting to be adopted from ACCT for MONTHS. Every time I'm there I see her and every time I see her, I can't believe she's still not adopted. Ok friends - I need help. I do not know how Dynasty hasn’t found a home yet! She doesn’t want to spend everyday in my office - she wants to spend her days in a forever home. Preferably getting lots of snuggles and the occasional pancake.

She was surrendered after five years in a home due to no fault of her own. She is 9-10 years old, perfect for someone looking for a laid back dog instead of young rowdy puppy. Thanks to a generous donor who doesn’t want concern about covering future medical costs to be a barrier, any non routine medical costs will be covered (though she has a great clean bill of health ).

So here’s the Dynasty 411:

🐾She is housetrained.
♥️She is great with every person she meets.
🐶She has not only good dog meets but has done fine sharing the office with a grumpy bulldog and a playful puppy, and a car with a chihuahua and a cat. 🐾She walks well on a leash

🥰She loves to snuggle and just loves to be with you. She’s also fine left alone loose at home.
