We specialize in Reined Cow Horses, Reiners, Cutters, Barrel, Rope, and Versatility horses. We are located in the heart of California horse country at the Sliding J Ranch in Acampo, Ca. Here at the ranch we have 5 arenas, luscious pastures, 97 stalls, turnout pens, boarders tack rooms, wash racks, hot walker, tie racks, trail riding in vineyards, and much much more. Visitors are always welcome, to
just watch or come ride the ranch’s horses. We have several cutting, reining, ranch, and reined cow horses for people to ride. Come try something new for the first time or hone in your skills. Horse leases are also available upon request. You can lease one of our horses for the show season to continue progressing while either waiting to further your own horses training or waiting for your horse to heal. We will be attending the Clements Cutting Club, Valley Cow Horse, West Coast Reining Horse Association and National Reined Cow Horse Association shows this year and hope that you will join us! Horses in training are rode 6 days a week and we have cattle available at all times. Training is $800 a month dry and $1200 a month on cows. We start colts as well and have a 90 day minimum at $800 a month. I train horses to get away from pressure and find the easy way. This keeps things simple and the end result is a horse that anyone can ride! Please feel free to come ride with us anytime! We have a blast whether we are riding and sliding, turning and burning, roping, cutting,or chasing cows.
