Our owner and the woman who runs the entire place was raised on horses all her life with a dream of having a Sanctuary and Rescue for the ones who needed help one day. In 2014, after being injured and dismissed from her career with the City of Houston she sold her 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a middle class part of the city where she had stabled her horses until then, and followed her dream to this

31acre piece of Heaven to begin Amazing Grace Acres Equine Rescue and Rehab. Her home now is an old Trailer with a tarp roof, but the stables for the horses are built to perfection. We have since rescued, even going to the extent of purchasing to save a few, 125 rescued, 87 horses adopted out, also 2 ponies, one mule, 2 pigs, and numerous cats and dogs. Unfortunately, but understandably, a few we lost over time due to diseases, etc. they could not be cured of, but Lisa provided them with more LOVE in that time than they had probably ever known. However, our success rate has been phenomenal. All the rest have been restored to healthy, beautiful, confident, loving, and riding horses!!!! All with the determination, devotion, dedication, and Love of Lisa. We have a few wonderful volunteers and sponsors we could not have come this far without. We have 12 stables and keep adding on. The fencing is a constant work in action and we are eager to build a corral to able Lisa to teach Riding Lessons in and allow us to provide Equine Therapy/ Therapeutic Riding in. At AGAERAR we truly believe animals are healing, and we want to be able to use some of " Our Babies" for that. The Veterinarian bills are astronomical, the Feed bills ( some of these "babies" , when they come in to us malnourished badly require 80$ a bag feed) , Ferrier bills, water bill, electric bill, all the other upkeep, gasoline and pickup truck.....Not to mention how badly we need a Tractor....it costs a fortune to keep this place running. We are a Non Profit. Our profit is Rescuing these poor, defenseless Beautiful Creatures and Restoring them physically and mentally, and Rehoming them. We also have a very strict and stringent program for the Adoption process. The Adoptees must sign paperwork that was written strategically and followed by other Top Rated Rescue Organizations. Home checks are done and followed up, etc. We survive only by Donations and Sponsors. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. We have different Sponsorship Levels if interested, and anyone is welcome to come visit anytime! I guarantee you will fall in love with the place, "the babies", and Lisa. CHAKA is going to have a baby,... She's getting milk in her t***s.
SHE CAME PREGNANT FROM THE SLAUGHTER LOT !! You never know what these babies have been through, ... Some are traumatized, have no trust..
But they know who feeds them, the trust starts to grow and the love 💕 is absolutely beautiful.

Miss Dolly is up for adoption. She's a great girl. She's 15 years young. Loads, ties, stands, sound, great with farrier and vet. Dolly was she has Smart Little Lina bloodlines.

Sunday Funday at the rescue farm.... I let CHAKA out to the yard, closed gate.... I'll Be,... I turned around and Lady Nevada opened the Gate ! I was running to close it and there he goes,... Ruthie Wilbur ran out the Gate !! Oh Well, them babies have grass in the yard area, eat it up babies !!?

We really need your HELP ! The funds we have received have been spent on the babies feed and hay ! Hay is now 14.75 a bale at our feed store.
I've ALWAYS been independent, I hate asking for donations. In order for us to keep moving forward with our mission, WE NEED YOU !! PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE WITH THE WORLD !!
