West Texas Pets Alive We are a small West Texas animal rescue doing our best to save animals from Big Spring and the surrounding area, and assist the West Texas community.

We are a 501c3 rescue as we are a DBA of Relocation Rescue. West Texas Pets Alive! is a non-profit, No Kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving Big Spring, TX and the surrounding area. We are dedicated to ending the killing of homeless pets by providing: Temporary shelter to stray, abandoned and surrendered animals. Finding permanent forever homes for homeless pets
Education and support

to the community for this animal population
Financial aid for vetting services and the spay/neuter of homeless animals
Support to area shelters and other rescue organizations to help achieve and maintain a No Kill status
We believe that all animal lives are important and that each deserves a chance to thrive in a home environment. We don’t save rescue animals. They save us!

Sweet boy Rigby is looking for his forever home! Fully vaccinated and neutered. Now about 8 monthd old. Good with all people and children (older kids would be best as he is active) as well as other dogs. He would make a great playmate! Playful, high energy and loves toys and attention. Gives kisses, loves his treats and knows the sit command. Walks on a leash. Loves car rides. With some more training, he would be someone's perfect good boy. Rigby, as he has been named, had a great checkup at the vet. He is vaccinated and healthy. About 6-7 months, good with kids, other dogs and is non reactive towards cats. He will be neutered asap. Message us if you are interested in giving Rigby a furever home!

Hey animal friends and rescue folks, I know it's been awhile since I posted, but we are still here doing rescue! Our most recent save is this sweet boy, abandoned by his owners and left behind in a rental property. He is a male, pit/lab mix, about 6 months old. Very sweet and friendly. Will be vaccinated and neutered asap, then available for adoption.
