To prevent any future confusion let me clear some important points up.
1. We have plenty of adoptable birds, they will not be publicly posted or send via pm.
2. Pictures are sent to approved applicants that seem to be a possible home.
3. The birds will be met in person and if your cage setup has been preapproved then the bird can be sent on the same day. If you are getting a cage from us then you will be required to get the cage set up properly and approved prior to taking the bird home. We just need to ensure you are physically as well as mentally ready for your new friend.
4. All meetings must be prearranged and I encourage checking the evening before or morning of to make sure it’s still a good time. Sadly my health varies so I can never guarantee a meeting planned weeks in advance will still work.
5. The goal always has been and always will be to get these birds into good quality, educated, and caring homes. I will not just send them out to the highest bidder.
6. These birds are not free, there is adoption fees for each one. I can usually give you an estimated range for a species but each bird varies for a wide range of factors. These are discussed privately due to Fb regulations.
7. Education is key, we work very hard to get these kids eating well on proper diets of organic natural foods, a bit of pellet, some healthy seed and a variety of nuts. Many even needed to learn how to play with toys. We except our adopters to be on top of these educational goals also.
8. I’m always here to help you make a better life for you and your companion parrot but you must reach out and ask.
9. I can’t say this one enough. — RESPECT —. Just be respectful, when you call or message us please do so during business hours, don’t waste our time if you have no intentions of adopting, don’t ask for help and then disagree or argue once we give you advice.
Have a good day all. Do good things!
