Hey guys we understand that this is a very busy, fun filled time of the year for everyone!
For lesson students:
As of January 2025 we will be enforcing the tuition based lesson program. If you are a weekly/bi-weekly lesson student that time slot is reserved specifically for you. Payment would be due for the month at your first lesson of the month. We will allow one make-up lesson per month for cancellations because we all understand that illnesses and emergencies do come up. One lesson will be permitted to be rescheduled at the instructors and riders agreed upon availability. Clearly we are in the winter season and we understand we could have snow or bitter cold temperatures, we do not want anyone to feel obligated to have to drive in horrible road conditions. If an instructor deems it too cold to ride the instructor will reach out to reschedule with you. If the instructor did not reach out then that would count as the one make up lesson. Indoor riding is available and improvements are being made every day! Lessons will be allowed to be made up due to road conditions at this time. Please remember your instructor is out there in these conditions as well, communication is key so please just reach out so that everyone can be safe and warm!
For our possible DHS Show team:
Our first big show occurs in the beginning of April with the possibility of having a few academy shows already under our belts by that time. If you are planning on being a member of the show team this year and have previously shown please remember that weekly lessons must occur for three months before the first show you would attend, this is mandatory. You must also have been a weekly lesson student for 6 months prior to going to your first show as a new show exhibitor. This is key for safety and success in the show ring for our riders and horses. If you are planning on being a member of the team please reach out and get scheduled!
Side note:
If you do not lease a horse it will be kellis decision as to who you will show. If you do lease a horse you will not have to share that horse with other riders at the show unless previously discussed. Please remember though that owners like to show their horses as well and reserve the right to share shows with you 🙂
All of us at Dream Horse Stables wish you and your families a wonderful Holiday! Stay warm! If you have any questions please reach out!
