"Before working with K9 Intuition, our puppies were causing quite a stir in the neighborhood with their overactive and reactive behavior (some would even say aggressive behavior). We were on the verge of becoming a nuisance, struggling to maintain control and feeling embarrassed during our walks. Thanks to Stefano’s guidance, we now walk with pride and assurance, knowing we have the tools to handle any situation with our dogs. The lessons we’ve learned are not just a quick fix—they’re foundational skills that we’ll carry with us for all of our future pets. So had a small world moment today. Went to a doctor for my ongoing neck injury in downtown LA. At the end of the visit I’m chatting with the nurse. She was looking at my address and remarked that she had been to Acton once before. She mentioned that she fostered dogs and brought a dog to this place called “K9 Intuition”. I chuckled and said “well that’s my business”. She looked quite confused. She asked “You are Stefano with K9 Intuition? “ Yes ma’am I am. Haha “ I didn’t recognize you”. She went on to tell me about her experience with me and how her dog is now. Foster fail of course hahah. Small world indeed.

"Bitter sweet": People say those words but what do they truly mean? Today I know. Tonight is our last night with our baby boy, for tomorrow he leaves to become a man. Tomorrow is the first day in a long adventure in his career as a warrior for our United State’s Army. He departs to become a member of the 82nd Airborne with aspirations to become the ever feared Army Rangers. I could not be more proud of him but in the same breathe scared and saddened by his absence. Though in the grander story of our country’s existence our story is not unique, but for our family it is. I pray his journey fills his every desire, I pray he learns the art of being a true warrior , I pray he builds life long friendships, I pray this experience is everything he hopes it will be, I pray it returns him to us the man I know he can be. More importantly I pray he comes home safe. Tonight I finally understand the turmoil I put my own parents through as a firefighter and a cop. Life truly does come full circle and tonight is my turn to worry and fret. I will end this post with my favorite of Celtic prayers for Nikko and his journey.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I love you son, I will miss you every day. Please know how proud I am of you and that I am with you in spirit every step of your journey. Love Dad.

"So I found this dog that had obviously been dumped (people suck) on the street at my work. I coerced her into my office and the craziness began. She instantly fell in love with me. But was a terror and would snap at anyone that tried to pet her. Uncontrollable on the leash, no manners, reactive to everything. It was clear that I needed to get this dog some training. Being a do it yourselfer I watched dozens of videos on you tube and thought I could handle this. I came across this e-collar training and knew that was the route I wanted to go. Down the rabbit hole I went. I then realized I shouldn't buy an ecollar until I knew what I was doing long story long a family friend who is also a dog trainer recommended K9 intuition. A dog trainer recommending another dog trainer I knew that was where I needed to go.
I did their 5 step program and my dog has literally been transformed. There is no pulling on the leash. Her "heel" is on point. She doesn't go after skateboarders anymore. Off leash recall is on point. My hopes were not set as high as what we achieved in such a short period of time. I did most of my sessions with Stefano but because of an unexpected circumstance I did my last session with Candice. Which worked out well for me since I got to experience another trainer's techniques. Both Candice and Stefano are great. They answered all of my questions and are both very knowledgeable. That's what you're paying for, their knowledge, experience, and techniques. Some of the smallest techniques were the most valuable to me. There's nothing negative I can say about my experience with k9 intuition. I would recommend them to anyone in need of dog training."

When? When are we going to wake up to the truth? Cancer is killing our dogs. Why? What we feed them is directly responsible for their health. When do we ask the tough questions? When do we hold them accountable? I’m so broken losing two of my best friends in 24 days to cancer. It’s time.

"I adopted a dog from North Central Shelter who'd been there for 2 years. He's lovely, but was lunging at people and dogs in my neighborhood, making it stressful to walk him and very unmanageable and scary. I took him to K-9 Intuition to learn e-collar training. The first 3 sessions my dog was charging and lunging at Stephano and his staff. Since then, with the guidance of k9 Intuition, I have learned e-collar training, he is muzzle trained, and now I have tools and confidence I didn't have before. My dog is a work in progress, and its up to me to continue training and consistency. But he has come such a long way. At my final lesson, he greeted Stephano and his staff happily - what a difference! I went from considering euthanizing him, to gaining control, and increased self confidence - now he and I work as a team and the future looks bright. Today our pack had suffered a major loss. Kibo came into our lives like a hurricane but left like a peaceful breeze. He filled our home with laughter, love, peace and strength. He came from a traumatic past but taught us that love’s true healing powers. Please if you will take a moment to pray for Kibo and our pack as this will be a very big trauma for all of us to endure.

So some good news. I trusted my gut and went to the vet. He thinks Kibo has Vestibular Disease which is common in old dogs. We will treat and wait to see. I had asked another vet to check for that before his surgery but they came up with no suggestions. Went to the vet that knows him best and is an old school vet and he seems confident it is that. Looks like we may have more time with him.

So many of you might remember our dog Kibo formally “Crush” formally “Sonny” . His story was what brought a lot of attention to our company many years ago. Well I’m afraid he isn’t doing well and our days together may be coming to an end soon. His life has left an indelible mark in all of our lives. Here is his first video.
