Happy Friday! Wrapping up our highlight week with our older bearded dragons. This handsome guy is still a juvenile at just 8 months old but often gets overlooked because he's a bit bigger. He has no issues with being handled and loves his insects just like any other dragon! He came to us when his previous owners could no longer care for him and give him the time needed.

So today we have this big boy to show off! We have had this boy about six months now. He was left behind in an apartment, and wasn't found until almost a month later when they came in to ready the place for new tenants. He came to us very very skinny, and is now a good weight. He gets scared of other animals and tries to run but other then that he has been great. Come on in, give this boy some love and a new home.

As with before, our adoption animals are not for breeders. Proof of proper housing is a must before you take this boy home.

On today's episode of older dragons who need loving homes is a one year old male dragon. This boy is healthy and was taken care of (nutrition and lighting wise) by his previous owners but was never handled or socialized. This boy is extra spicy, and while he is getting better with the handling we are doing with him, he is definitely not for a beginner keeper. He eats anything and everything he is offered and would make a great addition for someone willing to work with him.

Not all surrender animals we get have been mistreated or neglected. Some are simply brought in because of living arrangements changing, financial situations changing or whatever the case may be. This lady was from a loving home and very well cared for. She absolutely loves to be a shoulder dragon and constantly wants attention. She hasn't refused anything we have offered her and is ready for her new home.

As with all adoptions, proof of proper housing is required before we send these animals home with you. These animals are not breeders and are PETS only.

Meet one of the sweet older bearded dragons we’re highlighting this week at Cold Blooded! This 5-year-old girl is a total lovebug, and despite her metabolic bone disease (MBD) from lackluster care in her previous home, she’s full of life and enjoys her greens and bugs. She’s perfect for a family with younger kids who are looking for a calm, docile companion. While she’s not suited for breeding due to her MBD, she’s ready to find a forever home where she’ll be cherished for years to come.

🌿🐢 As we wrap up September, we’re adjusting our shop hours for just a few days at Cold Blooded. On Friday, September 20th, we’ll be closing early at 5 PM instead of our usual 8 PM. And on Saturday, September 21st and Saturday, September 28th, we’ll be open from 11 AM to 3 PM instead of 10-4. So, if you need to stock up on feeders, reptile supplies, or just want to hang out with our scaly friends, be sure to plan ahead! 🦗🦎...
